Told me to go to an orthopedist when his recommendation of rockers pulled my knees out. What?! Dr. Novella took no interest and no responsibility. Sad really. Run the other way if you have foot problems!

Been a patient for 25 years. As one of his professors said. He was the smartest student he had in podiatry school. No nonsense did what he said. He treated me for serious stuff. No nonsense methodology.

He can get a little abrupt if you don't tell your story concisely and don't ever talk while he is examining. He can't concentrate and will let you know that in a not so nice way. However, that being said he is a genius. He has a broad background in kinesiology which most podiatrists don't have. Go to him when no one else can help you.. worth the money.

I liked him right away. He listened to me and my foot history. I'm still getting my foot figured out by him, but we'll see what happens. I have faith.

Extremely caring, extremely helpful, took time and listened. He asked me very specific questions to try to figure out exactly what my issue was. Very thorough.

Was mislead about appointment. Receptionist told me would be 45 min for $275 but was 20 min. Expecting 45 min I saved my questions and after 20 min Dr. Novella said times up. He seemed very lethargic, and disconnected from his work. Certainly has knowledge and experience but seems irritable, and burnt out. Considering he is expensive wont be hard to find a more engaged and energetic dr.

I went to see Dr Novella last week for foot pain and left the office in tears. Dr Novella was border line rude and I quote an other patient's remark as I have exactly the same sentiment: "he is negative, pessimistic, ill-tempered and demeaning. Maybe he's burned out. He ought to retire." I will never go back or recommend Dr Novella to anyone.
