Dr. Virtue uses the safest protocols developed by the holistic biological dental organization, the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) when he removes the old silver amalgam fillings. He uses a dental dam and air filtration devices to suck the mercury vapor away from the patient, and other elaborate precautions that typical dentists do not use. He also knows about replacement materials and understands the importance of choosing materials that are bio compatible with the patients’ immune system. This helps to prevent dental materials from causing oral problems like burning mouth syndrome and metallic tastes in the mouth. His prices are very good compared to most biological holistic dentists. If you need your old silver fillings removed because they are leaking I would recommend Dr. Virtue. He has served as the President of the holistic dental organization IAOMT, where he helps to teach other dentists how to set up a holistic biological dental practice.
