My first visit was 4/2/21 for a basic eye exam, which was extremely rushed. He took less than 5 minutes to go through everything but seemed confident my prescription was right, so I ordered 12 months of contacts later that week. After over a month of trying to adjust to the prescription, I went back in because I was unable to see anything more than 10 feet away clearly.

I told him I had astigmatism on prior prescriptions and he basically brushed me off and said that I didn't show astigmatism when he examined me. I found an old prescription that listed astigmatism and he re-examined me, and then made a comment that "we were basically splitting hairs here" but gave me contacts for my astigmatism in the left eye and that was instantly more clear.

The problem is that I was charged $41 out of pocket for the second exam (when the first one was only $10 out of pocket) AND they aren't covered the new contacts that I need to order. He simply didn't take the time to examine me correctly the first time, so now because of his mistake I had to pay for an extra eye exam and an entire year's supply of new contacts. I completely understand that mistakes happen, but the fact that I have to pay for a mistake that was 100% his fault is not acceptable.
