From the minute I had my tummy tuck consultation with Dr. Malek, first in his conference room and then in the examination room, I had the best experience! Not only is Dr. Malek kind, he takes his time with you and answers all your questions. My surgery was his last surgery before the pandemic hit.

His surgery center, which is on site is excellent. I spent the night (which was planned), and my husband came to see me a few hours after surgery. I went home the next day and was pleased with my surgery. Dr. Malek gave me his cell phone number, as well as personally checked with me via phone.

Although I wish I could say everything went as planned and my recovery was uneventful, I had some major problems as a result of loss of circulation and had to have the sutures removed which left me with a large open wound.

I can only express that I was lucky in choosing Dr. Malek for my surgery. He is well versed in wound care as a result of his surgical training and ordered me a Woundvac to help the wound to close. It took about six weeks and was not pretty. During that time, Dr. Malek met me at his office about three times a week to be sure I was healing as well as changing the bandages as needed. This included some Saturdays and Sundays. All of this during the pandemic! Throughout that time, he made it very clear to me that when I was healed enough, he would give me the results I expected and fix the scars without any additional charge. He was true to his word and I am so happy with the results.

When I first met him, he told me that when he makes a decision to do surgery on a person, he takes into consideration their general health and has to treat the whole person. In my case it was being sure that I was in good health being in my late 60’s. Having spent so many hours together, I can only say that Dr. Malek is a very caring human being. As a surgeon he is amazing and I am so lucky to have put my trust into him.

STAY AWAY!

Poor after-care after breast reduction. My scar on one side was extremely irritated and not healing properly and the nurse indicated everything would be fine and “looked ok.” At the next visit with Dr. Malek, the wound was so infected that it required multiple rounds of antibiotics, several additional follow up appointments for steroid injections (off the record) and stitches to repair the damage, extending recovery time over 15 months!

Eager to get my business, they graciously offered to work with me and go through my insurance, which they typically don’t accept. I was going out of network to come to him, as a specialist – he was supposed to be the best! This was a fully covered, medically necessary procedure.

Their office manager, Melinda, and assistant, Taylor took the liberty to file all of the paperwork for me, but as soon as I paid my deposit and put the remaining balance on a care credit card, with their good faith promise that I’d be reimbursed by insurance within 30 days, Melinda contacted the insurance company and told them they would no longer be filing a claim on my behalf, as “the client” (me) had already paid them.

I was out $11,400 (not including care card charges) with no leg to stand on. For over a year Dr. Malek himself told me “not to give up” and “to fight my insurance to get reimbursed,” knowing that they did not file a claim. Taylor, the office assistant even went as far as to have me speak with her father, an out of state attorney to discuss the matter, because she didn’t understand why I was not getting reimbursed by insurance. She was convinced I had a case! All along it was his office staff that prevented me from getting reimbursed.

Once the office staff realized I had learned the truth, they stopped answering or returning my calls. It is unfortunate they were unwilling to partially reimburse and make the situation right for a procedure that would have been covered by my insurance.

Got my breast augmentation with a lift and came out still needing a lift!! One breadt went left and the other face forward! Told Dr Makek and he kept making excuses and never tried to make it right!! Really dad with the results! Would not recommend him:(

dr malek is one of the best doctors there is. His staff on the other hand tend to on the surface be nice and hlpful yet some of the things said shouldnt be said at work. As for Dr Malek you couldnt find a vetter dr he knows what he is doing. Extremely knowledgeable in his field!

Dr Malek is amazing. I couldn't be happier with my results. Every single one of his staff are so helpful and SO nice. there was not one person who didn't embrace me with Open arms.They were always available when I needed them. I felt as though dr malek and his staff genuinely cared about my happiness and well being. I would highly recommend dr malek to anyone, in fact I am sending my mom to him.

One of the worst doctors I have ever had. I wanted bigger breast but after the surgery he said that he wasn't comfortable with the size I wanted. Completely dissatisfied and he only cared about his needs not mine.

I am EXTREMELY happy with my results. Dr. Malek is a true artist and exceptional surgeon. I had an implant exchange and needed extensive reconstruction from a botched boob job from a Vegas surgeon years ago. Two of my issues were symmastia (I had no space in between breasts) and "bottoming out" or "double bubble" (implant was lower than breast) and the nipples were uneven. The old implants were too large and out of all of the surgeons I consulted with, Dr. Malek was the only one who was honest enough to tell me that I needed to go smaller to achieve my results. I was resistant at first but I had a gut feeling he knew what he was talking about and I'm thankful that I listened and chose him. All of these issues were corrected as he did an amazing job. Also, 200 cc's smaller but since he chose high profile implants, I'm still a D cup :) He is a meticulous perfectionist and also provides the utmost individualized care. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Malek is the most honest and ethical Plastic Surgeon I have ever met! With out getting into detail I will say this, when it is time for me to have anything done, he will be the ONLY plastic surgeon I will ever let touch me. He could have taken me on as a patient made his money but he felt because of my situation he referred me to someone else that could handle my situation better. Without a doubt I would highly suggest him to anyone looking for a Plastic surgeon that is HONEST TAKES THE TIME TO TALK TO THEIR PATIENTS and I personally have many friends that have had work done by him and say he is the only Dr. they would EVER go to. If you want the BEST...what are you waiting for CALL AND GO SEE DR. MALEK NOW...I wish I would have, I never would have had the major issues I am having now...(Breast lift and augmentation)

I had saline implants in 2007 and was at first pleased, then after a couple months they became noticably uneven and pain in the left side. I felt when I brought it up to Dr. Malek he seemed to be mocking me a bit and told me after I had my children they would look better (didnt plan on having children, havnt and still do not plan to) When I tell people where I got my surgery done, they always comment on how they will look elsewhere.
