beware, office staff lied to scam me for money. I asked how much a recommended procedure (just probes attached to skin and data recorded for 5min) would cost so i can schedule it while I was there. They told me just my regular $35 copay. Got a bill for $411. This was because i had not met my deductible which i am unfamiliar with because i rarely go to the doctor. The staff was aware of the fact that i had not met my deductible based on the verification form THEY filled out. I scheduled a follow up app and when I showed up the rude billing manager would not let me see the Dr. until I paid this amount and continued to lie and say my insurance told her i was only responsible for the copay. She also lied and said it was policy I cannot see the Dr. until i pay my balance. I was so fed up with the lies my head almost exploded.I gave her my credit card just so that I could see Dr. Winston to explain to him what his office staff was doing, soon after Dr. Winston came out of his office and told me I need to be seen by another office and that it was best if I left, quickly dismissing me. He had no concern of what the issue was for me as a patient being scammed by his staff. Well they got their money. Very unethical and unprofessional all around. Read ALL reviews of this Dr. on all sites. Wish I had, most sound similar to my experience. His good reviews probably come from family members :/

This Dr is a disaster, run!! His main concern was his $800 consult fee. I luckily found a wonderful, caring and compassionate colon surgeon and never went back.

Dr. Winston is a wonderful doctor. There is an issue with his office staff. Her name is Velma and is very rude and unprofessional. She did not notify me about the cancellation of my surgery. She called me at work the day before the surgery. She admitted she made a mistake but couldn't care less about assisting the patient. Dr. Winston's practice will drop if the office staff is not trained. She thinks she is a doctor telling the patient off. Dream on chic!!!!!😤

Dr. Winston took way too much Colon out of me. I wish I had gotten a second opinion. Bed side manner was terrible as he was rude to me and my family. When i went back for followup appointments i was canceled. I drove 3 hours each way and they did not bother to call to tell me. I was not given any advice on diet or lifestyle after my surgery. Very disappointed

Dr Winston came highly recommended by several physicians. i was not unhappy with his care but after several appointments and many many tests, his staff called to advise more tests were needed. When I questioned her, she bacame rude; the appointment that followed was worse! Both the staff and Dr Winston walked into the room with a condescending attitude ... As long as your insurance pays for test after test, and you do not question his supreme knowledge or that of his staff; do not express your own concern for your own care, the you should have no problems with the office or the services that they deem you worthy to receive or not ...

Dr. Winston is a wonderful doctor and an amazing person!!! Him and his staff are all wonderful!!! We were treated beautifully!!! I would recommend Dr. Winston with out a doubt to any person looking for a great doctor!! We are majorly blessed to have him as our doctor!!! Thank you so much!!! I was hesitant upon reading the reviews about my appointment, but seeing as it had been over a year since the last review, I gave Dr Winston a try since he came highly recommended. I can honestly say, the physician and staff left me in 'awe'! Dr Winston has such good bed side manner and his staff was so patient and helpful from check in to check out. I was a little embarrassed in the beginning (for obvious reasons), but Dr. Winston spoke to me in a way I could understand (not medical terminology) and I felt much better about my diagnosis and confident that he could help me. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a proctologist (colon/rectal specialist)!!! You wont be let down

He and his staff laughed about a patients condition out side the room. The staff was rude and told me they could diagnose if the doc were out so I should listen to them and if I didn't the doc would drop me. Since they are nurses and receptionist I was scared. Guess he lets his receptionist make a lot of medical decisions. That's scary she's not a nurse. But how crqzy for him to make fun of patients in others ear shot

Dr. Winston is friendly and knowledgeble. He listens, he was helpful. His staff is very nice. My husband and I both like him and would recommend him.
