I believe cultural differences negate a truly productive session. Not, very personable. Judgemental, insulting, threatening. Doesn't have a knowledge about the Adult ADHD. He yelled at me while I, was explaining to him what my previous doctor prescribed at the time. He's,trying to minipulate me by threatening to discontinue the medications that so changed my life for the better. Seems, like he has a 'Napoleon Complex'. His 'Bedside Manner' is that of a rabid porcupine on Lithium. 2 psych techs and several of his colleagues have told me to dump him. He, seems to have quite the reputation from what I, gather from the people who work with him.
Refused to get my previous medical records. Several, of my therapists that I gave permission to have have tried to contact Dr. Thai to try to talk some sense into him however, he never called them back.
Ironically, although I suffer from anxiety attacks this idiot actually induces them.
Finally, after I made a complaint to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center about his less than professional behavior he, cut the dosage of my medications.
To, make matters worse when I, protested he threatened to call security on me.
This, person should not be in the medical profession.
My advice is to seek out an attorney before your first visit.

Unhelpful as far as talk therapy is concerned. The approach is "insight-based" and in my case focused on continually focusing on the negative, pointing out to mistakes and weakness, and trying to "teach responsibility." It felt like being the unruly kid in 1st grade who gets yelled at by the teacher, over and over again. He also showed surprisingly little compassion and empathy for any doctor yet alone a psychiatrist, and led me to have a worst sense of self-esteem and confidence then when I started the "treatment." He has zero staff and seems overburdened by his administrative duties that he carries on his own. He was also not on time for a meeting, yet still proceeded to charge a full fee for it. Even when "on time," he makes patients wait several minutes past the appointment time, which I found unprofessional.
