My mom has been seeing him for five years. She has a complex medical history and cancer is only one of her health issues. Thanks to Dr. Arzoo it is the one we worry about the least. She sees many specialists and Dr. Arzoo is the only one that we would never, ever think of changing. I also want to take a moment and emphasize that his staff is truly outstanding. I don’t know where he finds these people but they are all angels, kind and compassionate but also COMPETENT when it comes to navigating the bureaucracies of dealing with other specialists/labs/radiology. Dr. Arzoo is also highly respected by his colleagues and has good working relationships with them. In our experience, if Dr. Arzoo says you need a test or a scan or a referral ASAP, it will happen ASAP.

I’m short, he’s just a great doctor who practices good medicine within a system that does not make that easy. He seems to understand that it takes a team and must put a lot of effort into selecting the best staff to support him and his patients.

Don’t ever go to this Dr. I don’t even wanna call him a doctor. My mom had been living with breast cancer for over 15 years, was walking on her own and was independent. She had wounds on her chest which we’re getting worse. He strongly recommend radiation therapy and chemo (which many oncologists don’t recommend doing together). After 13 sessions of radiation therapy my mom’s skin on the chest opened up and her implant came out. She was in too much pain and at high risk of infection. She could still walk and talk. We took her to ER and she was hospitalized for 2 weeks since she had blood infection. She received antibiotics and the infection was gone. However, she couldn’t talk, walk, or even eat anything. She was completely confused. She was discharged even though she was not ok and could not walk. Came home and we saw some improvements but her oxygen level dropped drastically and we had to take her to ER again. The radiation had damaged her lungs severely that the doctors said she was not gonna make it this time. She passed away after 5 days just because of the terrible mistake and wrong treatment option for her. She was only 65 and had fought for her life for a long time. If you really love someone and you want them to survive and live long don’t go to him.

Rude, arrogant. Gouges people who have money. Gets defensive and dismissive when a second opinion is mentioned. Not honest.

After seeing Dr. Arzoo regularly for almost 10 years, I can confirm without reservation that his many awards from the professional community - both for excellence in care, and compassion – are all exceedingly well deserved. Nothing could convince me to change oncologists.

Furthermore, during my visits over the years, I have overheard countless waiting room remarks about him, and all his other patients without exception hold him in the same high esteem.

Dr. Arzoo was the kindest, most compassionate and dedicated and honest doctor I had ever come across. Every question I had his answer, took his time with me in the room. I loved how old school and caring he is. We need more doctors like him

This doctor is one of the rudest, careless and non compassionate doctor I have dealt with. Every time you went to ask him a question he went in defensive mode and didn't answer the question. He made a mistake that was his fault and doesn't take accountability for it and he sent one of my friends home when he couldn't move and didn't feel good. I recommend you go to another doctor if you need someone to go to.
