Treats me for hypothyroid. He finally diagnosed it after NUMEROUS tries with my regular doc's office. I now have a new reg/family doc, but hope to keep seeing Dr. Orandi for a long time.

I found the doctor to be very rude and abrupt. He would not address the issues I was referred for. He told me I was depressed and needed to address that issue. He then told me to listen to what he had to say and not talk until he was done. He apologized upfront as he would probably offend me, which was totally true. I will not go back to him!! Will find a referral to another endocrinologist.

Dr. Orandi was great at first..I was there for Thyroid Cancer. Listened to me and insured me. after the procedure by the medical team in the hospital, I was informed of the next step. He called the Dr. and Dr. Orandi refused to see me any more, so I am left hanging without a Dr. for my next step in my cancer program. He just left a patient hanging fending for there own. I hope this helps anyone who is thinking about going to him.DON'T he doesn't care. He also said I needed help for depression..HELLO...I have CANCER.

I had to see him because the office had no appt's for me, I was there for a flu case, and I had my infant son there. he berated me for not breast feeding, and told me a story about how his wife breast fed other babies in his village, I never saw him again...

He is a great doctor, he paid attention to what I had to say, he some times may come across in a blunt way (your overweight) but If you dont want to hear that then dont go to a doctor because if your fat then you are and you need to do something about it. He change my med to the correct ones I feel much better. He

My mother went to him and he humiliated her and told her that she looked pregnant ( she is overweight and already is aware)!! He not only said it once but repeated it several times in front of my father. She now refuses to see any medical doctor and I know she needs medical care. Thanks a lot!!

Dr. Orandi seemed nice at first, but he gave me empty assurances instead of the help I needed. He assured me that I could not have dysautonomia, although I was exhibiting the same measurable symptoms in his office that led to a diagnosis when I got another doctor to refer me to University of Michigan for an evaluation. He dismissed my history of chronic illness with the assurance that I would be fine now that I had moved back to where my roots were; I wasn't fine.

I arrived 25 minutes early and I complained to the front desk 30 minutes after the scheduled appt. This doc starts off well with questions regarding your health. Then says, I don't think your crazy, but maybe your depressed because of ...(the list is immeasurable!) I finally stopped him and told him that actually my life is great, and in so many words, can we stick to the facts, which are, I have a tumor on the pituitary gland and the blood work and mri show that. Why is it that medical doctors want to play psychiatrist when they don't have the answers?
