Dr Hess has been my child's eye doctor since pre-school (now in college) and we love him! He diagnosed early on with a condition that needed to be addressed so that overall vision and ability to see whiteboard, etc in school would not become a problem. He's awesome with children (and young adults) - highly recommend!!

No doubt this is a great pediatric ophthalmologist as my son has been to the Tampa location on Armenia. This is a father and son practice. The tampa location has no contact number or phone number to call for an appointment. All other locations are under the general phone number 7277674393. This line NEVER rings, it goes straight to voicemail. saying no one is available to take your call right now... multiples calls and messages were left as a referral from my daughters pediatrician for a possible lazy eye. Yet no call back. How is this place still in business there is no one to answer phone calls or messages?

Dr. Hess was wonderful! He was so patient and explained everything not only to my daughter but to us as well. He was running 2 hours behind schedule so we just had lunch at the cafeteria while we waited. I would have waited 4 hours though to see him. I would recommend him to anyone!
