I liked the doctor but staff is not worth seeing doctor over. Mary who might be drs mother is so rude and crabby. Tells you one thing then doesn’t do it. Then will say I didn’t say that. They billed as an emergence even though this was a scheduled normal eye exam. Never have I paid this much for eye exam and glasses even when I didn’t have insurance. Total rip off. I fought with insurance as they ove4 charged by thousands of dollars. Yes thousands. And insurance said they had to pay. Go else where. Not worth the money

I thought I found my new eye dr since moved here.WRONG! What a rip off! I brought in my prescription from previous eye dr. They made glasses. Cost me over $500 more than with other dr. I even have insurance and glasses are not even wearable. Mary can be very rude. She’s who you deal with for glasses. They bill insurance as being a specialist and she’s not. She does have allot of frames to choose from-very over priced Go else where unless you want to break the bank for exam and glasses

Dr. Fowler's practice is near the Prawnbroker. I was seen punctually, her technician promptly found the glasses I'd gotten a few months before were woefully inadequate. The doctor pulled no punches in telling me that my glasses didn't work, because the prescription was not even close to my needs. After testing me, trying many lenses, she took me outside to look around, whilst still wearing the mechanical frames optometrist use to gauge your glasses. This was the 1st time in 60 visits to an eye doctor for me to be able to walk around, before they were purchased, with the lenses she had prescribed for me. She didn't rush me at all, making me feel like she really cared about me as a human being, unlike other doctors I have been to, who always seem to be in a rush for the next patient. I will recommend her to anyone, expecting them to be satisfied. She has almost 500 pairs of glasses to pick from, so I am sure that anyone will be find a selection that fits their tastes and needs.
