Dr Shanthi Giri is rude, disrespectful and cold. She refused to listen to my problems and concerns. I came to her in so much pain to the point that was unable to dress or bathe myself due to my arthritis. She said there is nothing she can do for my pain. She can only prescribe meds for inflammation. For pain, physical therapy and everything else, she said I have to go to my primary doctor. I’m so disappointed in the care I received from this doctor. She gave me no recommendation on how to manage my condition and no kind of treatment plan. She ended my visit by saying, “I only need to see you once a year.” I left her office in tears feeling so helpless and disrespected.

Avoid this one. She rude and haughty and acts as if she can barely stand the smell of you. I asked her exactly one question to clarify something she said at my first visit. She was unable to hide her annoyance that I didn't understand her Preciousness the first time. Without notice or explanation, she refused to refill a vital Rx for me, and I was left scrambling over the weekend. I had to pay another doctor over $350 of my rent money (I'm on disability) to get the Rx that I needed. If I'm not reimbursed, I am going to court. She has no respect for and does not seem to care about her patients.
