I've been seeing Dr. Herbert Alan Jones for over 30 years now and I've NEVER had a problem with anyone until today! Doreen, his "office manager" is the most rude person to speak with and deal with over the phone! Anyone who has knowledge of insurance knows that Medicare pays first, UNLESS you have part C! When your doctor has been writing your scripts for you for a year and you're also on Medicaid, one should know how it works when a doctor does not take Medicaid! Your scripts go though part D! Medicaid ONLY picks up the rest of the bill after part D has paid for your scripts and office visits! I wouldn't have anyone go to talk to Doreen! Rude as ever!

Best General Doctors you could ask for!! Been going to him for years. Knowledgeable and compassionate. His son has joined him so the office is double on all lists.

I've had Dr. Jones for many many years and always had good experiences until yesterday. I've never been treated so rude and uncaring as I was, I was so disappointed. He seemed to be having probs with his staff but that is not an excuse to be rude to your patients. He told me no one should die of colon cancer, saying this to a person who lost her husband just 5 months ago FROM COLON CANCER. omg

I was Dr. Alan Jones patient for many years. He took excellent care of me and was never rude or impatient with me even when I was a pain in the neck. He always treated me with compassion. I left his practice when his second wife began to manage his office. She was terrible to the patients. When my Dr. of twenty years relocated, I returned to Alan Jones' practice, and I'm now being treated by his son , Jonathan. Both are excellent physicians.

I was patient of his from when he first started as a doctor til I was 24. He was for many years the best doctor you could hope for and all in all if I would not have moved away he would still be my doctor. He did start getting a big head and was not there alot. His new wife ran the nurses and was not that nice.Still have to say he was the best doctor I ever had.
