Doctor was not very nice about my child and made disparaging comments while I was already struggling with him. Instead of wrapping up my appointment she stared at my 2 year old in silence with the most disgusted look on her face. she then proceeded to try and discipline my child (who for 40 mins already was a perfect angel until doctor showed up 20+ minutes late to my appointment. Doctor also fat shames and makes assumptions about your weight. Says hypo doesn’t cause weight gain.

I've been seeing Dr. Lokhandwala for my Type 2 diagnosis for a couple years now. I have found her to be an upbeat, positive and a humbled professional in her field. I truly appreciate how she has always taken the time to talk with me and the advice she has offered on how smallest of changes can improve my life with diabetes. She is direct, but positive when discussing the consequences of not treating your diabetes. She’ll highlight factors (i.e. diet, lack of exercise) that are contributing to my diabetes, but in the same breathe she’ll offer solutions and counseling on how I can fix it. I look forward to my continued treatment from Dr. Lokhandwala for years to come. If you are looking for a doctor who is knowledgeable, caring and supportive as a professional in the field of endocrinology, I absolutely recommend Dr. Lokhandwala.

NOT Plus size friendly. Made many remarks against my size. Her knowledge of new studies of T3 receptors and T4 was really good. Her fat shaming, on the other hand was very unprofessional. I feel like she did not listen to me when I was explaining my lifestyle and she made her own conclusions about it by my size.

This doctor only tests TSH, not T4 or T3. She also told me that hypothyroidism does not cause weight gain.
