Personable and connected with my child, looking him in the eye. He was thorough in his examination and thorough in answering my questions helping me understand not only the present course to take but future directions to hopefully avoid this type of issue again. He asked questions and didn't seem at all rushed. With Dr. Smalley, I have finally found a new pediatrician for my three-year-old son.

Dr. Smalley is always friendly, always patient with me (a new mom), and listens to what I have to say. He answers my questions thoroughly, and doesn't make me feel stupid for asking them. This means a lot to someone who is doing this for the first time. He is great with my son and always has a smile.

Dr. Smalley is always very personable. He takes time to hear what you are saying without being in a rush. He speaks to my children with eye contact to build rapport with them as well as with me. He talks to my boys informing them on medical issues in a way that they can understand so they aren't just hearing it from mom. We have seen other doctors in this practice as well and have been pleased with the knowledge and personable they have. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
