I was very impressed with the office, the staff and then Dr. Abboud. The doctor assured me that my foot pain in the ball of my foot along with my tingling toes where due to my bunion and hammertoe. He confidently told me bunion surgery and fixing the second hammertoe would relieve me of all my pain.
After surgery I spent seven weeks off my foot (0 weight bearing). I am now 6 months after surgery and my foot is no better. I have the same symptoms as when we started and my hammertoe is actually worse. The doctor stated he could go back in and redo this. Why wasn’t it done the first time? His reasoning didn’t make any sense to me.
I have gone to another surgeon recently. This surgeon stated my hammertoe is absolutely not fixed it needs to be redone after I heal completely from Dr. Abboud’s surgery. He will also reevaluate my ball of foot pain and tingling at that time.
I am torn writing this poor review for Dr. Abboud because he seemed so caring and passionate about his work.
Unfortunately the results after such a daunting surgery are awful.

Wouldn't have this Doctor work on anyone I know. He has totally messed my foot up so badly that now am going to have to have it amputated. If you want your foot messed up then let him work on it. Last surgery he did was to fix a compound fracture, but instead he broke all 4 of my metarsal bones and didn't tell me or put it in a cast. Now I am in constant pain and can't walk on it. Hopefully you can find a better Doctor to take care of you.

My 98 year old mother loved Dr. Abboud as she thought she had an ingrown toenail from a bad pedicure but he trimmed it all away and was very gentle with her!

Dr Abboud is very nice and knowledgeable but he has a script of multiple diagnosis to tell you and didn’t pinpoint the exact issue. Went for a second opinion and found his diagnosis was impossible for one foot. His cookie cutter script seems knowledgeable and patients sadly buy into it. He’s a descent Dr. if you can decipher through it, you might be ok.

His ego got stuck in the doorway on his way out. I make a point of asking questions so that I understand my condition and he was not happy. He mistook my quest for knowledge as a quest to question his capabilities.
