This guy is a first class IDIOT!!!!! I went in to get Dr Owens to write an order for some follow-up blood work I wanted to have done. I explained I am being followed by a ND in Lawrence. He was unsure what an ND was. He proceeded to argue with me about why I wanted to get my hormones checked after just having it done in March. I said that I wanted to keep track of my levels since I am currently taking bioidenticals. He disagreed and said there was no need for me to check my levels so soon. He went so far as to say that is why our Healthcare costs keep rising. Patients getting tests they don't need. He refused to authorize lab work for me and I promptly left his office. Unbelievable!!!!!! As I left I told him not to bill me. His response? "Oh, I will."
