Dr. Pardo started me on new MS medication. Unfortunately I had significant issues and I ended up in the ER/Hospital. I placed several calls to Dr. Pardo as did all the doctors at the hospital I was in. He never returned anyone's call or pages. After being discharged, I called his office again to no avail. When I finally did get in touch with Dr. Pardo (by calling his director) his reply was "hopefully your next doctor will give you the guidance you need". Wow... My family/friends and I were completely shocked. The issue was there was no guidance or communication provided especially when his patient and his doctors needed it most. I would not recommend his services to anyone.

I seen this Doctor once (Thank Goodness he is not my regular neurologist) He didn't listen to anything I said, kept interupting me, was very rude, talked over me, talked down to me, put me down and made me feel worse then how I did before I was admitted. Unfortunately I didn't have a say on who I seen because he was the doctor on call the week I was in hospital. I have never met a doctor like him. He made me feel like I was a nobody and that he was God. One of his students actually came into my room when rounds were finished and apologized for the way he treated me. This student said I feel bad for you, he didn't listen to a word you said and wouldn't let you talk. I am sorry" Its pathetic when one of his students needs to apologize for him. I guess it was a good lesson for him how not to treat a patient. All the other students that came into the room for rounds with him were looking at me with frowns because I think they felt bad for me. Even my roomate made a comment. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I saw him for a consult and was impressed the day of my visit. He took a thorough history. After that, things went downhill. Although initially responsive to e-mails, he and his assistant stopped responding when I requested the report after a few weeks. It took over 2 1/2 months to receive the consult report -- and I had to force him through the Patient Advocate. He didn't return my doctor's phone calls. When an antibody lab result was totally out of line with all my previous results and this (possibly erroneous) antibody result was to be the basis of his recommendation, he didn't order a retest even after I requested it. When my doctor eventually contacted him (thanks patient advocate!)with retest lab results more in keeping with all my previous tests, he then said that I didn't need treatment although his consult report said that I needed treatment if my antibody levels were consistent with earlier tests.

Follow-up was horrible. Despite repeated calls and messages left with his assistant over a period of months, he never responded with test results.

Poor "chairside" behavior, poor workup. Spoke about other doctors in a very nasty way. Never solved my problem. Big mistake to see him
