I am beyond thrilled that we chose this clinic, and we couldn’t be happier or have had a more positive experience. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t have agonized over this decision in the slightest. Austin Fertility Institute was absolutely, unquestionably, the best clinic for us to pursue infertility treatment at.

We chose treatment at Austin Fertility Institute with Dr. Moghadam because of 1) higher success rates (for my particular demographic than any other clinic in a 60-mile radius; reference sart.org), 2) overwhelmingly positive reviews, 3) PGS testing availability, 4) availability for immediate treatment start, and 5) location.

Even from my very first interaction with Austin Fertility Institute, I had a favorable experience. I was able to secure an appointment immediately. All of the staff were personable and friendly. I was treated like a good friend, not just a “patient.” My appointments were consistently carried out on time. Even when I arrived exceedingly late to an appointment one day (unexpected traffic paired with missing my exit), all of the staff were super gracious and accommodating, and fit me in quickly.

My questions were always answered to my satisfaction. Dr. Moghadam crafted an individualized treatment plan for me based on my particulars, and he listened very carefully to my desires and concerns, and to my unique circumstances (husband was about to deploy, etc). The appointments did not feel overly rushed, and I was given every opportunity to provide input or ask questions. He even gave me his personal cell number, in case any urgent needs or questions came up after business hours.

As a nurse practitioner, I am perhaps often hypercritical of other healthcare personnel (some say nurses make the worst patients!). Even given my likely overly-discerning view, I was super impressed with Dr. Moghadam’s intellect, skill, friendliness, and candidness. I was equally impressed with his staff. Jenna, Amy, and Jamie (registered nurses) were consistently great and informative. Jasmine (medical assistant) always seemed to be working when I needed blood drawn, and not once did she miss my vein. I had zero pain after my egg retrieval, and Dr. M retrieved 30 eggs.

Dr. M is also very strategic in developing a plan that makes good financial sense, and we paid about $8K less for IVF than we had originally anticipated. He gives a worthwhile military discount.

I was successfully pregnant after only 5 months of treatment at AFI. Currently, I am 23 weeks along, and at each appointment with my OB, I have been reassured that everything is progressing perfectly. I was going to wait to write this review until I had delivered the baby, but now that I am in the “nesting stage,” I feel that I will probably have more time to write the worthwhile review that AFI deserves when I am not yet sleep-deprived with a newborn!

After having done it, my advice would be to seek care with AFI without further delay. You won’t be sorry!

Dr. Moghadam help my husband and me create our little family. Without Dr. M and his staff, I don’t think that could have happened. We are very grateful for all their help and support. One year after our initial consultation, we were blessed with our first baby girl. Thank you Dr. Moghadam for all your work, support, patience and expertise!! I think any reviews of specific treatments wouldn’t be fair as everyone’s journey during this process is different. It was difficult but most certainly worth everything.

Dr. Moghadam and the entire team at Austin Fertility clinic were great - professional, intelligent and kind. We had a very positive experience with AFI.

After 1 year of trying to conceive and 2 miscarriages we went to see Dr. M. We did a month of diagnostic testing but the infertility was unexplained (which is not uncommon). We decided to pursue an IUI. The first IUI was unsuccessful but we had a successful 2nd round and I am now 10 weeks pregnant and released to my regular OB.

Throughout the whole process, Dr. M and team explained all of our options and answered all of our questions based on our individual case and his knowledge of what he has seen with other patients. I would recommend AFI without any reservations.

Just completed our IVF journey and now we are blessed with a beautiful baby boy. Our heartfelt gratitude and thanks go out to Dr. Moghadam and his team, especially Jaime and Nicole. This is a journey we will never forget and could not have made it without Dr. Moghadam. As with most journeys there are hills and valleys and Dr. Moghadam was there at every step to celebrate when the times were good but also there to support, console and encourage us through the bad times. I would encourage anybody that is looking for a dedicated and very caring doctor to choose Dr. Moghadam and also to realize the IVF process is a journey and to never give up until the journey is complete.

Dr. Moghadam is an exceptional RE, he is knowledgeable, thorough, and extremely dedicated to his patients. After multiple miscarriages, he helped us conceive our daughter and we will be forever grateful to him for that.

AFI provides extremely detailed, personalized care! I switched to Austin Fertility Institute from Texas Fertility Clinic. I found Dr. Moghadam at AFI to be more detailed and thorough in his approach on our specific fertility issues and needs. We had multiple tries and each time Dr. M used what he learned to get us closer to our goals. He takes time to review the data with you before making decisions. A few specifics I really appreciated about AFI: 1) The communication between staff is excellent; they are in sync with each other and across AFI, the Surgery Center, and the Embryologists; 2) The team was very patient with my questions and needs – Jaime and Amy are great RNs and were always willing to answer every question; Jessica, Michelle, Alayna, and Nicole were extremely understanding, helpful and on top of their game 3) Dr. M will get to know you and your history. There was no question I asked that he had not already thought through. If you spoke to Dr. M years from now he would still be able to recite my specific fertility journey in detail from memory. And I was always able to speak to him same day. Sometimes he even personally called with my Lab Results! He runs a tight ship and it shows with how great everyone works together.
Be prepared for crazy long waits in the waiting room. For us it was all worth it – our little man is due in April!

It has honestly taken me some time to be able to formulate the words to describe how appreciative we are of Dr. Moghadam and his entire staff. We first started our journey with him about 2 1/2 years ago. From the very beginning we felt like he was the best fit for our process. We have deeply valued everything from his patient care, his level of connection with us, his office personnel, and his nurses. I can't imagine having gone through this difficult journey with anyone else by our side. We are now almost 17 weeks pregnant and are so very thankful for Austin Fertility Institute and their support. Thank you so much and we cannot wait to work with them again in the future!

We’d spent a year working with another fertility doctor in Austin- many procedures, including a failed IVF cycle. Not even one positive pregnancy test. We were at the end of our patience and our bank account! Our doctor said it was time to turn to a donor egg. Our desire for a child outweighed the desire to keep my genetics in the picture so we began down the donor path. And then a friend recommended we seek a second opinion. My loyalty to our doctor at the time made me hesitant, but my friend was persistent, we should see Dr. Moghadon with Austin Fertility Institute.
We met with Dr. Moghadam for a consultation and there was an instant chemistry. He reviewed our records and confidently told my husband and I that he disagreed that it was time to abandon efforts of conceiving with our own genetics in tow. He was easy to understand, honest and personable. He outlined a simple plan for us and was ready to get started right away! His confidence renewed our hope and we left feeling positive about fertility treatment for the first time since the beginning of our journey.
First try with Dr. Moghadam and we are pregnant!!! His personal attention and care made all the difference. Each time I entered his practice, I was greeted by a welcoming, knowledgeable, caring staff. The nurses were always easy to reach with my random questions and I was never left feeling like I did not know what was going on or what I needed to do. There are no words to express our gratitude to Dr. Moghadam and everyone who works with him at Austin Fertility Institute for the personal care that led us to this phenomenal outcome!
