Dr. Newman was my anesthesiologist during my C-section surgery for delivery of my twins. For my surgery, he administered spinal anesthesia and it was done perfectly. I didn’t have any real pain when placing the needle or during the surgery. Throughout he was informative and transparent. Also he was kind and talkative to me and my husband during my surgery, which helped lots with easing of our nerves.

Dr. Newman was very kind and personable to me for my first experience having surgery for gall bladder removal. I felt nauseous after surgery but he gave me some meds and i quickly felt much better without vomiting once. He even remembered my children's ages from the day before since i had to have 2 procedures done right after the other. I was nervous about being sedated but he helped me feel comfortable.

Dr. Newman met with me in pre-op and went over everything that would transpire with anesthesia. I have had extreme problems with anesthesia in the past. He listened to all of my comments patiently and intelligently and he answered my questions extremely well. He showed concern for the problems I have had with anesthesia in the past and assured me that he would do the best of his ability to alleviate these problems. My problem in the past was vomiting for long periods, up to 13 hours. With Dr. Newman I did not have any vomiting and what a blessing that was.
