Very nice staff and Dr. Dan was great. Very informative and not anxious to make changes until he is fully educated with my "eye" history. Am new to the area and glad my friend recommended him.

Absolutely a wonderful Doctor. He takes the time to explain procedures and answers all of my questions. He also talked me through all the pros and cons of Lasik and offered recommendations.

Dr. Schmidt is very thorough and takes time to explain what he is doing as he goes thru the exam. Very personable...one of the friendliest doctors you'll ever meet.

I have been going to Dr. Schmidt my whole life. Unfortunately, I moved away and can no longer use his services. I just wanted to say some good things about him for anyone who may looking for an eye doctor in the Hays area. Dr. Schmidt's office is always meticulously clean and the office staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful. There was rarely a wait time to get into a scheduled appointment, and if there was a wait it was only a few minutes. Dr. Schmidt is professional in behavior and appearance. He does not pressure patients into purchasing products from his office. I highly recommend this eye doctor.
