My son had wrist pain a month ago. We went to Sports Medicine in Indianapolis. First impression: Bad. Waited 45 minutes to see the doctor. His sidekick, Bart asked some preliminary questions; came across as a smarmy used car salesman. Dr Rettig was cold, unfriendly, wouldn't answer questions, talked over my head, spent 5 minutes with my son, before sending him off to an OT and MRI. Terrible bedside manner. He's an old man who needs to retire. On the plus side, the OT Cheri Alexy was very patient and considerate and went out of her way to answer our question. Shannon, the MRI employee was very friendly and helpful.
Doctor experience: 0/10.
OT/MRI experience:10/10.
Wait time: total of 2.5 hours, they were so backed up and double booked.
My son is planning to do Pre Med. I told him Bart and Dr Rettig are the types NOT to emulate.
