My son Michael has several medical conditions and Dr Anton always been there for us, we are blessed to have him .

I love Dr. Anton,!! He has seen both of my children grow and is always so great with them. Ask them questions speaks inspiring words to them and provides the best care to our needs. He is very knowledgeable and always has the best advice when I have questions about my son's health issues! I recommend him to EVERYONE I know! I will not change this office for any other office!! I have even changed my insurance around to assure I stay with Anton! #RocaFamily ♥

We love Dr. Anton. Our top-notch doc (Dr. Chris Tappan) from Valrico recommended him when we moved to Westchase. He always spends lots of time with us and is warm, personable and very knowledgeable. Unlike the other reviewer, we've never had a bad experience with this office or its staff in the two plus years we've been going there.

I do remember the father in the last review. I am somewhat glad that I received a notification of this review. He called the office prior to the birth of his child wanting a call back from the doctor. He left a message that he wanted me to prescribe an oral dose of Vitamin K because he did not want to give the necessary intramuscular shot (which is given to help prevent a brain hemorrhage!) . Keep in mind that I have never seen this patient, and had only seen his other child once for a sick visit. I spent a while prior to our conversation researching the latest studies on its effectiveness. It was quite clear that the intramuscular injection was the only one approved in the USA and that the oral dose was definitely not recommended and could potentially put the baby at risk. So when I told the father that I did not feel comfortable giving this prescription and I recommended giving the injection, he became quite upset. He asked me how I would feel if his child developed a brain bleed (as if it was going to now be my fault) because I would not prescribe this medicine, because he was going to refuse it in the hospital after his child's birth. I again refused (I could also lose my medical license if a complication would develop because this form of treatment is not recommended) and he hung up the phone on me. A letter was later sent to this family stating that they were all discharged from our practice. As you can see, anyone can just get online and write anything that they want, even if it's as ridiculous as this...but they usually leave out details. It amazes me how young kids that have children think they are experts in medicine and would know more than the physician.

Worst doctor, Alex Anton, ever, He fails to properly explain alternative options for our children and hangs up on you, or the call drops, then when you try to call back the staff says that they are not able to transfer calls and can only page doctors. They can not even take a message. Then drops you as a client! Really just because a person does not understand why something needs to be done a specific way and you don't know the alternative you should not drop the child!

Dr. Anton is a wonderful doctor. My daughter sees him and he is always sweet to her. I run to the doctor with her for every little thing and he is always patient with me. He gives a proper diagnosis and is never quick to put you on medicines your child may not need. A pediatrician's office is very busy and schedules appointments within 10 minutes of each other. If a person is 15 minutes late to their child's doctor's appointment and then has the nerve to complain they are waiting too long they deserve to be chastised! Dr. Anton runs a little later than the national average (whatever that is) because he takes his time and answers all your questions as thoroughly as he can. If you want him to rush through your appointments that is fine, but I want him to take his time when treating my child.

Doctor Anton is the best doctor we have ever come across. I wish I could find a good doctor like this for myself! I take all three (soon to be 4) of my kids to him and they just love him. My 5 year old daughter talks the poor mans ear off every time we go and he always takes the time to sit and talk to her and make her feel important. My kids have seen multiple specialists and for the most part all of them ignore my kids and talk to only me. This is very unappealing to me. If my kids say anything it's like they are not even in the room when we go anywhere else. It's so important to me that my kids feel comfortable and happy and he always goes out of his way to make sure they do. He has even called me after hours from his home to check on my kids before when they were sick. He just has the best bedside manner I have ever seen, I wish there were more doctors out there as kind and caring as him. Very highly recommended!

?? last review. Dr. Anton is the best doctor, bar none. He is the most patient doctor that I have ever had for my 3 children, and they love him!!! He's not quick to just hand out antibiotics unless he thinks that it is the right thing to do. Dr. Anton takes great care of my children and I couldn't be happier.
