Dr. Fried has TERRIBLE bedside manner. He is dismissive, condescending, and lacks compassion and empathy. He does NOT care about his patients. He offers no more empathy to his patients than a mechanic does to a car. If he is in a foul mood (most of the time, I'm sure), he will give snarky answers to serious questions. He doesn't want to hear about pain. I guess he thinks he's special. Perhaps a gift from above ... no wait that would mean he would have compassion. He's just a man with a poor disposition who became a doctor like thousands of others. Not a nice guy. I would avoid this one at all costs.

Arrogant, verbally condescending, told my mother she was fat and had gas, and hours later she was in the emergency room with twenty-one pounds of fluid in her stomach and stage 3 ovarian cancer. She had been complaining of symptoms and addressing them with Dr. Fried for over a year. She did not survive. I had similar extremely negative experiences with him myself before this incident and had stopped seeing him prior to this. I was once seen by his LNP for a total five minutes. In that time, having never met her before and after I told her I was having stomach pain and nausea after I ate and had slow digestion issues, she decided I was depressed, wanted to put me on Welbutrin and to double my Prilosec dosage. My gallbladder has since been removed by another doc, as it was loaded with stones and functioning at 6% capacity. I voiced my concerns with Dr. Fried about that visit, and was met with a few condescending remarks and a blow off. See him at your own risk.
