Worst experience ever! Diagnosed torn cartilage in both ankles and recommended both be immobile for 4 weeks. Sent me home with one brace and one boot that immediately put my back in an awkward position - even though I told him I had a herniated disc issue. Didn't take long for my back to have issues with the imbalance he created. I opted to not wear either until I could speak to him about the problem it was creating and hopefully come up with another option. After I conveyed this info to a member of his staff along with some other concerns and questions, his response back to me was that I was welcome to go elsewhere if I wasn't satisfied. Never addressed the concerns I had. After sending a request for him to call me personally, he was rude, defensive and belligerent. He informed me that even if it made me immobile (with my back out) it was still his recommendation to move forward with the devices he had issued. When I told him that was an unacceptable solution, he accused me of questioning his medical knowledge. This has set me back $1100! He even refused to give me a copy of my X-rays to take to the next doctor I've already made an appointment with. Claims he has a contract with insurance providers that prevents him from giving them to be at no charge. It's only $10 but I'm in no mood to give him another dime. I could go on with misinformation he put in my chart, but suffice to say I cannot recommend this guy!! Beware!!

This is a busy office, yet I was able to get in within a week. Staff was professional and the doctor was too. He was efficient and explained my problem and answered all my questions. I went to other podiatrists in town and they only wanted to do surgery. He solved my problem in two months without injections or surgery. He is by far the best podiatrist, if not doctor in Joplin.

Had an appointment with this doctor. Even though I had already had x-rays a week before, they took more and the doctor was only in the room for less than 5 minutes. Did not seem interested in how my injury occurred or what previous treatment had involved. Charged me for x-rays and something called strapping telling me after the fact that insurance wouldn't cover this. Then told me to make another appointment for the following week. Seeking new doctor.

I was able to get an appointment in week, and he solved my problem within 3 visits. He took the time to explain my problem in words that I could understand. He did not try to talk me into surgery or anything I did not need. I was very satisfied and he did great at solving my pain. The only draw back is they did expect payment at time of service, which I suppose is fair.

Nurse would quote me one price. Office manager wouldcharge me a lot more using estimated costs. Really annoying and unprofessional that staff is not on same page. My advice use other podiatrist in area.

I got an appointment within a week of calling. The doctor was busy, but on time and he took the time to explain my foot pain in terms I was able to understand. He was honest and upfront and told me that I did not need surgery as opposed to other podiatrists who only wanted to do surgery. He solved my foot pain and would recommend him to anyone.

Has similar visit today as the below post. I felt the doctor was more interested in a "consultation fee" than helping my injury. He saw me for maybe 2 minutes told me to reschedule for later date and then his staff said that would be $40 co-pay. I cancelled my next visit and have found another Doc. Terrible experience.

I do not believe the previous review. This doctor appeared to have no care of my foot condition. I am diabetic with several toes that are blue from lack of circulation and also numbness in those toes. Although I was wearing almost new diabetic shoes it was apparent to me that the first priority was to sell me a new pair for 400 dollar shoes. Those were ordered and I returned to get them "fitted" and that was all that was done, and that was by his nurse. The actual inspection of my feet and toes lasted about 60 seconds and was just a cursory glance. Nothing more. I told the referring physician and he stated he would not be referring anymore patients to him.
