This guy is a dickhole. I would never recommend him. No empathy. The way he informed my father he had terminal cancer was to say "well you're a cancer patient now"
We asked how long would he live without chemo he blurts out so heartless "6 MONTHS!" like it meant nothing. He has to tell people everyday that they're going to die and he's over it. It's just another day to him. My father did chemo and lived only 4 months after diagnosis.
I feel he killed my father continuing to recommend chemo even though my father had problems with the chemo. every round he ended up in ER. He would have lived longer without chemo. The chemo killed him, not the cancer and it's this guy's fault. I could say much more

He's great when all is going well but checks out immediately when they are not going well.

No empathy, didn’t explain things well, he knew my husband didn’t stand a chance and gave him false hope! Saw him on a Friday and gave him some stronger pain pills and he died sometime during the night late Monday but probably in the early hours Tuesday morning . As far as I’m concerned he sent him home to die! Texted and sent at least 5 messages and pictures Monday because he refused to eat or drink anything after that ensure I got him to drink early and he took his meds with a bit of water. He was in terrible condition! I found him when I went to check on him at 7:30 Tuesday. I am crushed ! Can’t eat or sleep it trying to stay strong for our special needs son! Can’t control the crying. I wouldn’t bring a pet rock here! And he was just getting ready to get a second opinion! Just hearing your name makes me sick to my stomach! I definitely don’t recommend Dr. Bizette!! And to think I trusted him the first visit!

I agree with the other reviews that he has ZERO empathy. He's all jovial when everything is going well, but once that's not the case, he becomes detached...no input on alternatives...NOTHING! He killed my husband. I would NOT recommend him! BUT, with that said, his chemo nurses were angels on Earth....LOVED them ALL to the moon and back!

Dr shows Zero bedside manner; no sympathy; rarely explains the situation/issues/treatment. I never minded seeing his nursing staff (people to actually gave the chemo), but it was time to have the Dr visit with him, I dreaded it. But, Ochsner and the nursing staff are EXCELLENT.

I would never, ever recommend this doctor. He has no empathy, no bedside manner, did not explain the situation fully. I blame him for my husband's death.
