This so-called "doctor" has absolutely destroyed my life. I cannpt express to people enough to RUN away- please go to anybody else. This con-artist fooled me in to believing that I needed surgery on both feet when I didn't know anything was even wrong- I had only been in for a checkup on a broken toe the year before. The first surgery went so bad I nearly died from a massive infection he wouuld not treat corectly. It took months before he could "go in to fix" that disaster- and then claimed it was perfect.... As things got incrementally worse I finally saw multiple other doctors who decribed my foot as disasterous, permently disabled, and a mumified foot. Turns out there was NOTHING wrong! My other foot that he described as just as bad is PERFECT, but my other foot has now required a full rebuild trying to repair as much of the damage as possible and removal of the metal Rambacher the Butcher put in because it was all out of place and a loose screw hanging between bone. I was an athlete, yoga lover, hiker and runner who will now never be able to do anything I love again. God knows how I will age and how debilitated I will be because of this fool. I feel like my life is over at my young age. The pain is more than I can take. Please do not allow him to ruin you.

August 12, 2022 would have been my brother, Matt’s 50th birthday. Unfortunately, in the fall of 2009 Matt’s insurance directed him to seek surgery for his ruptured Achilles’ tendon from “Dr.” Thomas Rambacher. The doctor’s pre-surgical review was incomplete, neglecting to note that Matt had a family history of clotting disorders. Matt’s leg post surgery was supposedly assessed for DVTs after cast removal at his appointment with Rambacher on the day of his death. This observation was noted in the post visit summary which was dictated 20 minutes after my brother’s death! Before he had died (while in extreme pain, struggling to breathe, in and out of consciousness) his neighbor had to call Rambacher who denied Matt was experiencing a DVT, and did not advise him to take baby aspirin or call an ambulance (which could have saved his life). He went into cardiac arrest in front of his two young sons, and by the time the paramedics came it was too late. He died on the way to the hospital.

Our mother, a retired RN (of 40 yrs) with myriad experience in both in-patient and out-patient areas of care, including outpatient/same day surgery pre-surgical assessment and interviews, is qualified to make these observations. She has reviewed copies of Matt’s charts from both “Dr.” Rambacher as well as the hospital. Because she was involved with quality assurance/risk management activities (both in hospital and at a free standing surgical center, as well as being an accreditation reviewer for a larger insurance company) she is well aware of standards of care. These standards of care were not met in Matt’s case.

Dr. RamBUTCHER
If I could, there would be no stars given. I find it hard to believe RamButcher made it to the Top Medical Professionals in Orange Coast Magazine. Who did he pay off? Plastic surgery stitching during his surgeries, my Frankenfoot! Yes, that's right, I have a deformed foot thanks to him. I probably should have had PT but he suggested I buy this newfangled machine which would rotate my toes instead. Needless to say, I had a marvelous shoe collection that I had to give away because now my feet are 2 different sizes. If I could post a photo of my foot, I would! I'm embarrassed to wear sandals because of the stitching job he did on my second toe. It looks like a mangled sausage. Go with your gut instinct people. I wish I did.

Rambacher performed bunionectomies on both feet about 6 years ago. Ruined my life. I've had 3 more surgeries trying to fix what he screwed up, and I need at least two more--though my feet will never be right. One foot is so over-corrected it has made the toes splay out and they are completely hammered; it is so crooked I have to buy shoes two sizes too big. The other foot is worse. The screw came out of the bone into the soft tissue almost immediately. I've since had to have the bones in that foot fused. I have constant pain and cannot wear normal shoes. I wear men's extra wide athletic shoes now with custom orthotics. Don't do it.

Dr. Rambacher is an excellent Podiatrist who takes the time to listen and hear your primary complaint. He is very personable, knowledgable and explains everything clearly in terms you can understand. I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen and am always treated in a respectful and friendly manner. I highly recommend Dr. Rambacher if you are looking for a top notch Podiatrist!

I consulted with three previous doctors prior to my consultation with Dr. Rambacher. None helped me! Dr. Rambacher diagnosed the problem immediately and and set about to cure me from this (over 30 years) foot problem. Within months after my surgery I returned to normal walking. Dr. Rambacher is truly a "healer". I can't say enough good things about Dr. Rambacher and his wonderful staff. Each visit was positive. They care about their patients. Their aftercare is much appreciated I highly recommend this doctor! 5 DIAMONDS

"Simply THE BEST!" Wow if you have found the BEST Foot Doctor I have ever seen in my 50 years here on earth! I was preparing for a foot surgery from another Dr. and at the last min. I decided to get a second opinion and "Thank you JESUS" I did. They would have preformed an incorrect surgery on my foot and the tools needed for my surgery need to be in place before surgery~ Dr. Rambacher is SO knowledgeable and is really here to take care of people. He also treated my 13 year old daughter for a broken ankle and he took every precaution possible for her to have the best outcome with such a bad break. I just cannot say enough GREAT things about him. I do feel very blessed to have him for my Dr.
