Dr. Wazer attention to safety culture is non-existent. His attitude is a mixture of condescension and annoyance. Not only does this put his patients at risk but also other staff members are affected by his rushed and neglectful attention to safety and quality of care. Unprofessional through and through.

The Case Number is 1584CV03897, Wazer. vs. Carpinito, Filed 12-28-2015. Boston Superior Court. Puthawala should also have been dismissed years ago, he was sued in Providence, R.I. Court in 2011, for medical malpractice. They're the worst. You don't want to go there.

Yes, I am so glad to read this latest rating about Dr Wazer perjuring himself in a case. I was a patient at RI Hosp. Rad. Oncol. years ago, and had so much damage done by a Dr. Puthawala from that dept. there, that I filed a medical malpractice in 2011. Dr. Wazer was supposed to be the supervisor in that dept. and both Dr.s were negligent and causing too much damage to the patients. Does anyone know the case number or the complainant in the Mass. Superior Court Case in Boston, so that I can add my experiences about the negative results of their work?

On September 11th, 2013, Dr. David E Wazer was called as a witness in a trial held at the Massachusetts Superior Court in Boston. In his testimony against a complainant. Dr Wazer knowingly perjured himself in stating the primary reason the complainant had been dismissed from the New England Medical Center’s Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Wazer stated that one of his patients “could have lost an eye or his life” due to an incorrect calculation of radiation dosage by the complainant. However, under cross-examination, Dr. Wazer admitted that the document that specified the dosage to be delivered to the patient was missing two signatures by the physics group, one by the complainant and one by the “checker”, and that without both signatures being present no radiation could possibly have been delivered to the patient. Dr. Wazer knew the details of this incident in September-October 2007, as well as the fact that the calculation form was completely invalid, but yet on the witness stand he claimed that his patient “could have lost his eye or his life” due to this so- called calculation “error”. There were a number of additional issues upon which Dr. Wazer perjured himself, but this was the primary one.

I wouldn't go to dr wazer or any of the doctors in the oncology dept. at RI Hospital. They'll tell you that their treatment is 'safe' and if you know anyone who's had the radiation treatment there, then you'd know that it is not 'safe' and it will cause irreparable harm and damage to the patient. I would look for alternative treatments and steer clear of that unprofessional bunch. They should have video cameras and constant supervision of that group of doctors there, they are very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Didnt like dr wazer. Hes supposed to be supervising the other drs there, and hes not. Its as if the drs there at RI hosp are trying to show how much they can get away with, injuring patients, taking advantage of people who have medical insurance. Its no wonder RI hosp has had so many fines against it, wrong side surgeries, objects being left in patients. Its becaues of doctors like these. I really feel sorry for the poor trusting patient who gets harmed. The drs there are losers.
