Dr. S spent 25 minutes with me in my first consultation. That is unheard of to me. I am used to being herded in and out like a cow at my previous OB/GYN. She not only listened but inquired about a blood disorder that I had listed that no of my other doctors have really discussed with me because it's fairly rare and not that devastating in normal circumstances. She picked up on my brush off of the blood disorder and stopped me and asked all the right questions. She was absolutely right and made a big discovery (That had a pretty easy fix, but a big impact on my daily life). A few blood transfusions later and I was good to go. No one had ever bothered to ask the right questions or push me to answer the questions. I am not one to go to the doctor often so it was a blessing that when I bit that bullet and went that I saw Dr. S. She was attentive, knowledgeable and warm. She was highly recommended, but I was still overwhelmed with the level of care and the time she took.

I started seeing Dr. Stradtman several yrs ago immediately after breast cancer treatment and the death of my ob/gyn. At every visit, she has been kind, attentive and knowledgeable. She has big cotton gowns that wrap around!! At first she ordered additional tests like ultrasounds, but as the survival time has lengthened, she doesn't order anything extra. I wouldn't go anyplace else. There was a staff issue a couple of years ago, but it was quickly corrected. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I went to see this doctor to get on birth control before I got married. She was very nice and helpful and found out that I have Factor V Leiden. I got pregnant shortly after that and she was with me throughout my entire pregnancy, put me on blood thinners, and helped me through 2 premature labors. One at 20 weeks and one at 36 weeks when I had my daughter. She even came in on her off day to assist with my c-section. About a year later I go back to her to have my IUD removed and she completely blew me off, saying that none of my symptoms were caused by the IUD. I went to a different doctor who took it out no questions asked and all symptoms went away. I will not be seeing her again.

Dr. Stradtman exercised demeaning and discriminatory behavior over the course of several office visits. She was not only judgmental, but also dismissive of my health concerns on a number of occasions. I have since switched doctors, and a more considerate analysis of these concerns has revealed devastating fertility issues which could have (and should have) been addressed years ago.

I was shocked at my experience with her because she came so highly recommended by a several people. She seemed very kind the first time I saw her. However, my second visit with her was entirely different. I was having a lot of pain in my pelvis and she pretty much dismissed it. I told her that with my history (previous lymphoma) I'm always a little concerned with pain and thought something was wrong. I told her I had always suspected endometriosis also because of my history. She said I was being "paranoid" about cancer and would do an ultrasound if I really wanted one. I told her that would make me feel better. I just had cysts at that time. I never went back to her. I finally found a new gyn who has really helped me because I did have severe endometriosis. A few years later I ended up losing my ovary and went on hormone because of the awful disease.

I have used Dr. Celia Stradtman for a number of years and found her and the staff to be attentive, concerned and quick to act on any health situation that I have had. She and her staff have even called me at home to make sure that I was progressing as I should and was quick to give me an appointment when I called in distress. The fact that she has taken the time to make sure that I understand my condition and the approach to care that she has taken has had a positive affect on my health and recovery. I trust Dr. Stradtman's competence, approach to medical care and attention to detail.

I was not happy with my care. I have honestly NEVER seen such an awful staff as well...and I did not find this physician sincere about my care, she was there to do a job and leave...very cold and removed.. I would not recommend this doctor, particularly for pre-natal care or any emergency situation. Doctor started my c-section early. After baby was delivered, physician who was supposed to be assisting rushed in, apologizing for being late; however, it was Dr. Stradtman who had begun early . NOT HAPPY...I felt that I was not treated well in general...

I love this physician. Dr. Stradtman has been my OB/GYN for 15 years and always makes herself available for any situation. I have had two c-sections and a tubal pregnancy, which I almost ignored as gas pains. Via a phone call with her nurse(who consulted with Dr. Stradtman) regarding something entirely different, I casually mentioned the discomfort. I was told I should come in ASAP, no exceptions. I put them off and was not going because Ihad no more "gas" pain, but received a phone call from Dr. S, once again stating that I must come in. That urgency saved my life as I was already hemorrhaging at that point. With an outstanding knowledge base and one of the top female surgeons is the southeast, Dr. Stradtman is a leader in her field. She is a rare find as you not only get a quality physician, but someone whose bedside manner parallels that of a good friend. Best doctor I have ever had!!! Staff friendly, efficient and quick to get you back and seen. Recommended HIGHLY!!

After having been a patient of a very likable doctor who was retiring and no longer performing surgery, I went on a search for a surgeon to perform a much needed hysterectomy. I spoke with several individuals both in and out of the medical field and Dr Stradtman's name came up repeatedly as an outstanding doctor and human being. Since I had sought her medical advice for a second opinion 15 years ago, I made an appointment as new patient, transferred my records, and went for a consultation and yearly exam. Afterwards, we scheduled the surgery in the Fall of 2007. She was just wonderful, reassuring and caring. I had many other issues/concerns and her caring approach have been a blessing. I do believe she is indeed the best. In her 50's like me, Dr. Stradtman has a vast amount of experience. And going to a female Dr for an examination makes a huge difference.Since she still delivers babies,be prepared if there is any delay in your appointment. Believe me, she is well worth the wait.
