My husband went to him for severe headaches. He was on Short term disability. Dr could not be bothered to fill out forms. And we didn't get paid.

Dr Freitag is a great physician! I would recommend him to anyone who wants a physician who really listens to you. He has a sincere caring disposition about what concerns you and your health. He is determined to get down to the proper diagnoses of what is causing your problem. I find him to be quite honest and makes sure you understand you what he is explaining to you no matter how many times you have to ask him to repeat his explanation.His bedside manners are exceptional. Part of his staff is not that friendly. However, I am not there to see them.

I agree w/a previous reviewer. I really do like Dr Freitag - he has been my neurologist for over 10 years, & I have no complaints about him as a physician (except that occasionally he does get behind schedule & you may have to wait for your appt). Most of his staff, however, is really horrible. There are one or two older ladies who have worked there since I first started seeing Dr Freitag, & they are usually very pleasant. The rest of the staff (especially the front desk staff) is always 100% rude. And, I don't mean this has been a once or twice occurrence. Again, I've been a patient in Dr Freitag's office for over 10yrs, & I always encounter at least one completely rude employee on every visit. I have also sat in the waiting room & wtinessed them be unnecessarily disrespectful to other patients checking in for their appointments. It's very frustrating such a good doctor has such horrible staff.

His staff can be extremely rude - one worker actually told me I lied about my insurance after she made an error. I have never been treated as rudely, although there are several who are quite nice and helpful. I would never put up with that, except I love Dr. Freitag. On our second visit, he had reviewed a video my wife had made of me when my symptoms were particularly bad. My wife has done a lot of research on my illness - probably Parkinsons Disease - and asked a number of questions. He responded several times with "I have thought about that..." and "well, I did some research on that..." I was amazed that he cared enough to think about me between appointments. He has also admitted a few times he didn't know something instead of B.S.ing me like some Dr.s. Dr. Freitag has always patiently answered questions and given us his time. He has been so compassionate and helpful. We have referred 3 friends who asked us for a good neurologist, and they have all been as happy as we are.

Office didn't call with test results like they said they would, or call to do medication management like they said they would. Office staff and doctor advised me they would call me after 1 month on medicine to setup next appt. , as well as determine how well the medicine was working.. Never called back. Not going back to this doctor. Even though he seemed very knowledgeable, and took time to answer my questions.
