Dr. Schmalz is one of a kind. I have never experienced such a caring and supportive doctor before who really helps you work through a plan and how to manage it. She is thoughtful, supportive and a partner in helping someone go through the tough times. Although I was seen for a minor evaluation, I felt comfortable enough with her to ask her for help with something more serious in my life. To my surprise, she was warm and welcoming and really wanted what was best for me. I wasn't just another number but a person who she certainly has helped make an impact in my life. There are not many physicians out there who really care these days and I'm thankful that our County has one of them!
