Dr Farjo sincerely cares about helping me. He's direct and through explaining my procedure. I would recommend him, for all things orthopedic.

I was extremely lucky to find Dr. Farjo. Another doctor kept treating my hip pain as bursitis. Dr. Farjo diagnosed my problem as a labram tear. I had the arthroscopic surgery recently and will be starting PT this week. He's a great doctor, and his physician assistants are fabulous. I never leave feeling rushed and they have always addressed all my questions. The surgery was easy compared to others I've had and I'm doing very well.

Dr. Farjo is an excellent physician. He takes the time to explain things, gives you realistic time frames and expectations for recovery and makes sure your questions are answered. As a physical therapist, I am continually impressed with his surgical skills and I had outstanding outcomes when he operated on both of my hips (labral repairs). I saw several physicians before choosing him and happily traveled over an hour to see him. He clearly has the most experience with this surgery compared to other physicians in this state and has excellent outcomes. I highly recommend him and have great respect for his physician assistants as well.

I am a physical therapist with almost 23 years of experience. During this time, I have participated in the rehab of 1000's of patients with orthopedic aliments. Dr. Farjo is, by far, the best orthopedic surgeon I have seen. In fact, he has operated on my shoulder and knee with excellent results. I highly recommend him and hold his physician assistants in high regard.

Dr Farjo is one of the few people in the state who specialize in hip arthroscopy. After being bounced around between literally 6 different docs, I found my way to him. He knew immediately what was wrong (torn hip labrum and FAI), recommended surgery, and actually fixed my problem that I suffered with for over three years!

In the last two years, I have gone to Dr. Farjo a few times regarding my knee. I will admit it took some time to get me in, but it was also the end of the year and probably a very busy time for him. He's been nothing but helpful and willing to make me pain free and NOT have to come back to his office. I don't care if I have to wait a little to get an appointment with him. I don't care if I have to wait a little longer in the office to see him. Sure, he only spends about 5-10 minutes with you, but you have to understand he's a very busy man trying to help his patients. In my opinion, he's one of the best doctors I've ever had. If you want the best, you better expect there's going to be some waiting, because so does everyone else. So, stop finding things to complain about and appreciate the fact that this doctor is willing to take time to see you and make you better.

Dr. Farjo is a top notch surgeon and doctor. He fixed my shoulder when I had been told by two others that I needed to have it replaced. Then I went back and got my knee scoped and it feels as good as new. I read some of the reviews here complaining about waits, etc. Let's face the facts: if you want to go to a world class specialist, it's going to take a week or two to get in. And you might have to wait in his office a little. That being said, I have always left completely understanding what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. Yes, he is very busy - but there's a good reason for that - you're not the only one looking to get the best for their body. There isn't one time i've been there that I haven't sat next to someone who has traveled 2-3 hours all the way to Brighton to see him.

This physician has a great reputation in the area. I have found myself having to have mutliple surgeries and my condition still is not better, if anything I am worse off than when I started and considering going for another opinion. Appointments are always late, sometimes waiting over an hour only to be seen for a maximum of 5 minutes. Dr. Farjo is very nice and friendly but he is in and out so fast that I have had to call their office with additional questions afterwards because I felt like I was being rushed during the examination.

He has had a good reputation in town and has a kind demeanor about him, but seems very tired and possibly burnt out. He is accepting too many patients and you have to wait weeks to see him. I had a bad inflammatory condition. After spending a lot of money, I solved problem on my own through nutrition, supplements, detoxification, and exercise. Advice from a knowledgeable person at a health food store and the naturopaths helped the most He gave me no information whatsoever on nutrition. He also has a physical therapy clinic. I liked Michigan Rehab Specialists a lot better and they are cheaper. The billing for both places was very confusing. He did not explain the MRI results. He told me to go to another busy doctor and told me to come back and see him again, but I will not go to either one. There are some orthopedic doctors from India in Brighton, Michigan. Give them a try. There is a Med Retreat in Sarasota, Florida, that seems very nice, caring, and willing to help.
