I have been seeing Dr. Miller for about a year now and I am most delighted to write an excerpt regarding his treatments he has given me. He has been such a source of light in my life, and I just wanted to express my deep gratitude for lending me his ear during our sessions. I greatly appreciate our dialogues and I always look forward to seeing him and speaking with him. Our sessions are truly amazing. He offers unique services. For example, his lovely four-legged friend, Sasha, has been present during our sessions since we began working together. Sasha is an amazing dog who has encouraged me to let go of my fears of animals. When I was a child, a dog, which was horrible treated by our neighbors, charged at me with the intention of tearing me apart, as he got loose from his restraints. He came straight at me. My father saved my life, but ever since that day [I was about four or five years old], I have been terrified of animals, particularly cats and dogs. Dr. Miller and Sasha have changed that. My fears dissipated soon after I got to know Dr. Miller and Sasha. Sasha is such a loving, caring, attentive, respectful, and very perceptive four-legged friend who, and along with Dr. Miller's treatment, helped to extinguish those frightening feelings I had about pets and animals. I can now touch a strange dog and play with him or her without the fears that I was clenching onto. Both Dr. Miller and Sasha have provided a safe heaven for me. I am now healed of that fear. Dr. Miller has a great gift of discernment. He is a very distinguished practitioner and his esteemed skills help people like myself. I greatly appreciate his openness and astute because I have never felt judged and/or misjudged by him. I feel that he has always been kind and judicious in his evaluation of me, especially, as a person who has had disabilities and disadvantages in life that slow me down. I have rarely felt this comfortable with other counselors. I have rarely felt this comfortable with other counselors. Dr. Miller is very attentive, perceptive, sensitive, and diligent in his practice. He is also quite caring, compassionate, sympathetic, thoughtful, polite and very considerate, which is very important to me. I think that his approach to healing people is very unique. The aforementioned qualities he poses are rare nowadays. He is very humble and does not carry a chip on his shoulder; that alone allows for open and frank communication; and that is how I remain open-minded to his practice. I value his refreshing and caring practice towards patients like myself. I feel that other people, who have come across many unfortunate obstacles as I have, would benefit from his esteemed care that he offers to his patients. He is an accomplished expert in his field and he has the passion to help people like myself, who endured a lot of atrocities in life. Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to read my review and I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy. I hope that my review will help you to decide to see Dr. Miller because I believe he has the ability to help a lot of people. Again, thank you for your time and take care, everyone.

I had been seeing a psychiatrist named Dr. Lentzner for 9 years due to panic attacks but when I asked my psychiatrist for some help with an unrelated issue, he was unwilling to help me himself. Then I met Dr. Matthew Miller and he was more then willing to help me. He went out of his way to do what I needed him to. Dr. Matthew Miller is a great listener and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Miller is a very insightful & educated psychologist. Dr. Miller also understood and could relate to a lot of what I was going threw.
After seeing a psychiatrist and now a psychologist I have learned that;
Psychiatrist medicate there patients to help them.
Psychologist educate there patients to help them.
If you need any type of mental health help then make an appointment to see Dr. Matthew Miller. He is a good person & a great doctor.

Dr. Miller was awesome!!
He did a comprehensive psychological testing battery for me. I needed an assessment for the California Bar Exam for attention deficit disorder (ADD) to request a testing time extension. Dr. Miller did an amazing job for much less than other psychologists charged. He even made special office hours to accommodate my schedule. He included testing for ADD, personality, and complete IQ. He wrote a comprehensive report and completed the application for me. All of my accommodation requests were granted on the first request.

I would highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Miller !!!

Dr. Miller was really helpful for me in dealing with my depression. He is a great listener, but even better, he really helped me to "do something" about my depression. I am doing much better now and I'm happy even without medications. I'm so glad I found him.

Dr. Miller was one of the best therapists I've ever had. He is more laid-back and modern than most and was very helpful in my treatment for bipolar disorder. He is very easy to talk to and was never rude or made me feel uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend him for teens and young adults.

All I can really say about Dr. Miller is that he's very cocky and kind of a jerk. He treats you as if you are a broken little creature who wouldn't survive without him. He is also really unaccepting of patient input.
