Dr. Watson took on my 82 year old mom after another physician tried to repair my mom’s broken hip. When we found she had been trying to rehab on a broken femur for two weeks we knew we had to find another doctor. Dr. Watson was on call at TGH and was able to completely redo my moms hip for the second time in two weeks. My mom was a healthy active senior and Dr. Watson’s plan was to return her to that same lifestyle. He always greets us with a smile and a handshake. Well worth any wait in a busy office.

Dr. Watson is an excellent, caring surgeon. I was up and about very quickly following a total hip replacement with very few restrictions.
This experience turned out to be less stressful and much easier than anticipated.

We can easily see how important Claudia is to Dr. Watson and Florida Orthopaedic Institute. As busy as the office is, she always gets the patient name and information right. I called from the car on the way home from Alabama after a fall on my new knee. She was able to make me an appointment. A few days later, it was busy and she still had time for a hug. Dr. Watson is such a professional. While looking at my knee, he pointed out some swelling in both lower legs, suggesting that I see my primary care doctor. I did a few days later and he's running some tests as Dr. Watson's keen eye was right on the mark and something's not right. I've seen Dr. Watson a number of times and he is always comforting, tries all routes before surgery and a great diagnostician. I'll keep recommending FOI to my friends and family.

I have to say that my expectations were exceeded at Florida Orthopaedic Institute. I was dissatisfied with my local provider in Lakeland and did not want my knee replacement to be done there. My friend had recommended Dr. David Watson to me, he had done her knee replacement and she was very pleased. I started seeing Dr. Watson in 2017. I appreciate the time he took with me each time to answer my questions. Claudia Robb was great to work with and everyone I had contact with was very professional.

I have had two partial knee replacements by Dr. Watson. With the first knee replacement, he kept me in good shape using injections. He told me “he would do surgery when my quality of life change”. He kept me going for 3 years before I had the first surgery which was a perfect experience. The 2 knee replacement was done much quicker. I had to have a second surgery because the sutures broke with two weeks and then I fell down the stairs in my home and required stitches for the same hurt knee. Dr Watson and his staff could not have been nicer to me.i never felt like he was too busy and when I wanted to cry, he always had a smile for me. The entire staff were so great. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ME WAS HIS ATTITUDE ABOUT WHEN YOU NEED TO HAVE SURGERY, BECAUSE I KNEW HE CARED MORE ABOUT PATIENT CARE AND LESS ABOUT GETTING ME TO SURGERY TO COLLECT MORE MONEY. I KNOW ALL THE PROBLEMS TOOK UP MORE TIME BUT DR WATSON AND HIS STAFF NEVER MADE ME FEEL BAD.
