My husband had cataract surgery on both eyes done by Dr. Lichtenstein years ago and had a great experience. When it came time for me to have cataract surgery, I only wanted to go to Dr. Lichtenstein. He took as much time as I needed to explain everything. I had cataract surgery on my left eye by Dr. Lichtenstein in May of 2018. I just had cataract surgery on my right eye last week by Dr. Lichtenstein. Both procedures were a pleasant experience. Everything was explained in detail as it was being done and my hand was held the whole time. I cannot believe how clear and bright that my vision is. I had my left eye done so that I can read and use the computer. My right eye is now for distance. It is amazing how perfect my vision now is. I can read signs and see at night. I no longer need contacts. I was treated with the utmost care and concern at all times. I would highly recommend Dr. Lichtenstein, his office staff and the staff at the surgery center.

This the "Go To Guy" when you need a "Go To Guy". I wish he had other specialties outside of Ophthalmology. I'd let this guy do brain surgery on me...........Office staff was top shelf as far as knowledge and efficiency. OR staff.......penultimate patient care......someone held my hand during the procedure......how comforting that was during a stressful time. My vision is now perfect.
Overall opinion.......I wish I had two more eyes with cataracts so I could go back.......

Dr Lichtenstein performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The results have been spectacular. I'm now driving without glasses for the 1st time in 45 years, and can read extremely small print again. Driving at night, which was becoming very difficult due to glare, is no longer a problem. The difference in the brightness of colors is startling. The best analogy is the movie The Wizard of Oz, which started in black and white, and dramatically changed to technicolor. Dr Lichtenstein returned me to a technicolor world. My experience with the staff at both Ophthalmic Partners and the Main Line Surgery Center was nothing but positive.

I just had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Lichtenstein. Being severely nearsighted, having worn glasses since I was 12 years old and having had two detached retina related surgeries in this eye, the results are spectacular. Dr. Lichtenstein and his team at Ophthalmic Partners, as well as the team at the Main Line Surgery Center, were great. They were attentive, efficient, personable and knowledgeable. Overall, a very positive experience, as both a patient and a customer.

I recently had two cataracts removed. Dr. Lichtenstein and the entire staff of Ophthalmic Partners were excellent in every way - from medical expertise and skill, to patient care before, during, and after each procedure. I was incredibly nervous the first time, and the entire team took all the time necessary to explain everything and reassure me. I now have excellent 20/20 vision for the first time in years, and it is such a gift! I am so relieved to have this medical team in my corner.

There are no words to express how grateful I am to have found Dr. Lichtenstein and his assistant Keisha. After having cataract surgery in both eyes using a multifocal lens, I began to experience intense glare, halos and starbursts that became so debilitating I could not drive at night. After going back to the original surgeon and getting a 2nd opinion, Dr Lichtenstein would become my third opinion. He spent an enormous amount of time evaluating my situation. In the end he would have me try an eye drop in hopes to avoid another eye surgery. Long story short, NO GLARE, NO HALOS, NO STARBURSTS, and I am now able to drive at night and am not locked in my house at dusk. Dr. Lichtenstein is over an hour drive for me, but I would have driven 6 to see him to achieve this outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Lichtenstein.

Dr. Lichtenstein sets the standard for how doctors should be. He is pleasant, informative, happy to answer questions, and, oh yeah, he is also a great opthamologist! He is also on time for his appointments, including surgery. As someone who is quite busy, I greatly appreciated his respect for my time. All doctors should learn this!

I was referred to Dr. Lichtenstein by my opthomologist for cataract surgery. I was very apprehensive about the surgery until I met Dr. Lichtenstein. His knowledge, professionalism but most of all his caring way was most impressive ; I immediately knew I was in good hands.
He took the time to explain the procedure and the options I had as well as answering all my questions. Keisha was the technician that worked with me. She was friendly, professional and courteous as was all the staff. I could not have asked for a better team.
The surgery could not have gone more smoothly. I am grateful to Dr. Lichtenstein, the office staff and the surgery center staff for their professional, competent and caring way putting a nervous, apprehensive patient at ease. I would highly recommend this very competent team. Thank you
Dr. Lichtenstein for a positive experience.
