He can completely ruin your quality of life with a stroke of a pen. I do not feel as though he cares about his patients. It is more like he works for the DEA & on a mission to make $$ off addicts and people with chronic pain by making them sign the contract but then prescribing the lowest amount he can (not even enough to take the edge off as in 2 low dose percocets/day) to claim he is a real “pain” doctor. Nada! I have never felt so belittled & even ashamed for having a serious, progressive disease with only a few years left if lucky. He went down my list of meds, told me I could no longer take some of them (though I’ve been on same meds for almost 20 yrs) and told me that I could get no other prescriptions from a family doctor or anyone unless he approves it. He did not care when told him and showed him test results showing I am have advanced systemic lupus. He only wanted my money, treated me like a child and an addict that was trying to get away with something. Barney Fife wasn’t going to let that happen!! He has a God complex & seems to want recognition for knocking out the opiate crises. Many people do take meds responsibly & have real pain. I hope one day he’ll have his own pain & doctors treat him as he has treated others.

BEWARE!!! Worst of the Worst, I’m not the only one to give this doctor a bad review. I would give him a negative review if it was offered.
He canceled a prescription that I needed for pain.
Do not use this doctor, warning

Went to this doctor after bad wreck, 2 operations, and 3 weeks of PT only to be told he couldn’t prescribe me pain management prescriptions that have been already prescribed by attending physicians because of “regulations”. Really? I have 2 rods, 3 plates, and 13 screws just put into my shattered pelvis. How else do I qualify? Terrible doctor. Do not go.

I've been seeing this dr for almost a year. He's very thorough. The staff is awesome. He has helped mtg with my chronic pain to where I can deal with it. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their level of pain.

I started seeing Dr. Lee in October 2019. He started me on the Suboxone treatment program for opioid addiction. I took my medicine as prescribed, I went to the required meetings, and most importantly I did NOT use any substances that were not prescribed. Everything was going good until January 30th, 2020. On that day I was informed that my saliva drug screen that was performed on December 27th, 2019 was positive for fentanyl. I was in shock as I have never ingested fentanyl not once in my lifetime. Since it was such an obvious mistake (in my eyes anyway), I thought surely they would retest me or at least look into why this happened. I offered to take a hair drug test, at my own expense, because it was the only test that would go back a month prior. I knew if a hair sample was tested, that it would clear things up. I was met with rolled eyes and being called a liar. I know I did not do this drug and Dr. Lee was not willing to figure out what really happened. I deserve to know what happened, because I know what didn't happen and that is me having taken fentanyl. I'm not convinced that the samples were not mishandled by mistake and switched with another patient's. The nurse or tech never sealed my sample in front of me and I never signed anything. It is also possible that it was an error at the lab. Dr. Lee was not willing to investigate the truth.
He has since kicked me out of the program without giving me a reason. I can only assume it is because of this false drug screen. All I wanted was my hair tested to clear my name. I am now left with trying to find another doctor to safely have me weaned off the Suboxone.
What Dr. Lee does not realize is this can impact someone's life in such a way that can be lifelong. For example, a parent can lose custody of their children over these drug screens.
If you are seeking real help for a opioid problem, I encourage you to do your homework and really research this guy. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.
I refuse to be silent about this and I will tell my story until the end of time.

Dr Lee is the WORST so called pain management dr in history. I have heard he was part of a pill mill and turned on partner and now is actually discharging patients because is now scared to prescribe meds for chronic pain patients like me, who will never get better. He takes away quality of life. His staff doesnt label urine samples until they "get to back room". I NEVER came up dirty for illegal drugs in the 10 years i was seeing my Neurologist in Pennsylvania, i move to Alabama to escape the painful cold and now apparently im a meth head and coke addict... i am appalled!!! This arogant POS only read one... ONE medical report from a recent ER vist... i have had my issuse for 22 years and the worst if it in past 5 years... all i got is a lecture about how the meds that i was taking giving me mobility and a quality of life will kill me... i was takingvthem for 5 YEARS without one OD or any adverse effects. He cut them down to levels that couldn't take a headache away. I only saw him twice, first for his condescending lecture and 5 months later so he can call me a drug addict and discharge me. It took all my will power not to strike this small, Napoleon like man. I demanded another test on the spot which is my right and was denied. Now no other Doctor of any type within the Baldwin County Medical Group will treat me or prescribe any type of medication for my pain. DO NOT PUT YOUR MEDICAL NEEDS IN THIS MONSTER'S HANDS!!!

P.O.S. had his speech down pat, it was all about the drugs, nothing about the actual care he would provide. i really don't want anyone getting the wrong idea, so let me repeat my self, P.O.S.
