This so called doctor has no bedside manners, and when he asks you a question, he does not even listen to your answer. Very egotistical. One minute has me on very strong pain medication. When I told him I didn't like the side effects, he decides I don't need pain medication. He had never taken any xrays or cat scans or MRIs for 5 the years I've been seeing him, then when he decides he's no longer going to give me anything for my pain, he decides to take xrays and do an MRI, i guess, to try and now prove I don't need them. Wouldn't that be illegal to have me on strong pain meds for 5 years if he suddenly decides I don't need them. And the withdrawal from the pain medication he had me on was awful. He tells me he would refer my primary to find me a new pain doctor, and then told my primary I dont need one. All this before I even had the MRI done! I'm going to talk to a lawyer about a malpractice suit. I am in chronic pain every day and have previous xrays and MRIs to prove it. He's ruined my life. I agree with the lady that said he thinks he's God. Well actually God is a kind compassionate God. He's more like a dicktator.

He is not human. He looked at me as I am an object since I did not have a good insurance. I could feel that he was not willing to take care of me. He has terrible bedside manner. After waiting several weeks to make an appointment with him, he spent only 5 minutes with me. He did not even examine me and said that there is nothing he could do for me since my insurance would likely not pay any pain intervention. This is the last thing you want to hear from a doctor particularly when you are in pain.

Dr. Naour has spent a great deal of time explaining the dynamics of pain to me. Knowledge is power and his thorough explanations have helped me live with chronic pain. I also appreciate his balanced approach to chronic pain. I feel very comfortable bringing questions to him and I very much appreciate the time he spends explaining to me why something will/will not work. Any time pain management is at issue respect and trust is vital from both the doctor and the patient. I very much respect his attitude toward me.

My father went to this so called pain specialist for pain management after suffering from cancer. As a veteran, and after 28 yrs of working he was let go from his job this man looked at my father & told him he was not getting paid for his services because my father was on state aid. My father saw this man less than a week before he died cancer free & died suddenly of a heart attack w a major blockage. This man should learn courtesy & stop passing judgment. You are a dr. Not god.

Went to doctor for back pain issues. He refused offer of a disc with all x-rays and MRIs on it. Said he could only offer me cortisone injection (which I can't have) in hip or Celebrex. On 1st visit examined lower back and had me wait 2 months before would examine upper back. Upon 2nd visit his personality towards me changed when he read in my file I didn't want cortisone. He only tested hand strength and leg strength then told me that it was his experience that women who have been abused have issues and that I need help for my issues. I told him I was in counseling for that. He reiterated that I had issues and walked out of the room. I have not received any satisfaction as to date from the pain clinic itself and will not pay to be not treated and verbally abused. The pain clinic website lists 14 different types of options for treating pain and none of them were offered to me. I will NOT be going back to that clinic.
