Dr. Joannow was the best Dr. I have ever had. She will be dearly missed as she has moved out of the country. Her replacement Dr. Lee, is unfortunately sub-par. If you want a doctor who Google's your problem right in front of you and has to do the same with medication, then and only then would I recommend Dr. Lee.

Several family members and I go to Dr. Joannow as a Primary Care Physician. She iis thorough, knowledgeable, patient and never, ever rushes you in and out. She even came to the house to care for my elderly ill mother-in-law and provided her services free-of-chareg (as my mother-in-law did not have insurance). She is a no-nonsense medical care provider whom you can trust and count upon.

I love Dr. Joannow. She is sweet and helpful and always provides feedback and information. She takes her time to sepak to you rather than rush you out the door. Very diligent and patient. I needed to get a meningitis shot and she had her secretary contact several offices for me where I could go get it as her office did not have the shot at the moment.

I would never go back to this doctor. She was just fine during my initial visit, however, she appeared so different during my second and third visit. On my third visit when i noticed other patients and her own staff rolling there eyes behind her back I knew it was not just me. She appeared rude and stressed and i felt very uncomfortable. Took my insurance elsewhere!

Dr. Joannow is knowledgable in general and takes the time to research your partiuclar condition. She is no-nonsense: she will spend the time with you that it takes to explain what will improve your health, she expects you will do what you need to do to get and be healthy.

Overall I think Dr. Joannow is a very good Primary Care Physcian. I hate needles but no longer fear bloodtests because she takes blood really good. I find it easy to make appointments, she is on-time,accommodating to patients needs, requests, concerns etc.

Melanie is a great doctor who truly cares. She is very sincere and will tell you bluntly about the health problems you need to address. She has been instrumental in helping me turn my life around. No she isn't perfect, but nobody is perfect in this world. However, I would rather be told the unvarnished truth than have my health problems sugarcoated. She is one of the few doctors that TRULY CARES about her patients. I always get a half hour of her undivided attention. As long as she is practicing she will be my primary doctor.

At first she seemed very nice. She turned out to be moody and not very personable. She was nasty to other doctors and nurses.

I love Dr. Joannow. My husband and I have been going to her for a year now, and she is the most reasonable doctor I've ever encountered. She truly cares about her patients. She takes time to listen to what is going on, she never pushes unnecessary medication (as some doctors this day and age), and she has a great network of people she refers you to. I don't think I've trusted a doctor this much since I was a kid growing up in a small town in Minnesota (where the doctors did and knew everything!).
