Would not recommend Dr. Tolley to any one who needs to see an oncologist. He is arrogant and does not like to be wrong! He is not a genuine people person and makes patients feel rushed and oprates practice like an assembly line!!

I am a 4 year stage 3 breast cancer survivor. Not only did Dr. Tolley save my life, after weeks of hearing bad news Dr. Tolley called us on Saturday afternoon because he the chemo was working and he didn't want to wait until Monday. He is one in a million. I know he left RMCC so if anyone knows where he went please post. It is hard to find a Dr that cares so much and gets excited to see your progress

I have waited for Dr. Tolley to come into the exam room for almost two hours. Terrible. Inexcusable wait time. Even though he is a knowledgable physician his wait time is beyond terrible. No one should sit in the exam room for two hours waiting to be seen. His nurses aren't exactly pleasant either. If he weren't such a good oncologist, I'd go elsewhere. Entire office needs an overhaul from the front desk and up. Very unfriendly folks. So I guess you make the choice.....get cured from cancer and tolerate the unfriendly staff and the habitually late Dr. Tolley or go elsewhere. I've been going here 7 years and I think it's time to find another oncologist center.

Dr. Tolley saved my life from cancer. He listened to my concerns about chemo and my concerns of surviving this horrible disease.

I was referred to Dr. Tolley after it was a possibility that I may have a carcinoid tumor, as a mass was seen in my prepyloric region of stomach by Gastro doc. After approx. 3 visits, on the very last visit with him (my choice)Dr. Tolley states to me that I should quit ALL of my vitamins as they have proven to be more bad than good, make a 4 month appointment and he would be contacting my primary doctor to tell her that he is strongly against any surgery. Further he had no clue what the gastro doc was looking for as nothing is there and remarked that if I could find someone as smart as him or smarter to basically believe me that something is there and needs to be done, good luck. Well, thank goodness the SMART Gastro doctor continued following up & referred me to a talented surgeon. They both believed I needed surgery to remove mass. As a result, I had a large pancreatic tumor which led to a gastric wedge resection and I have felt tremendously better & happy I did not listen to Tolley!

Poor bedside manners. He likes to do the talking, cuts patients off when speaking and he feels that what he says overrides everything. In my opinion his ethical obligations are not being met! I am not questioning his professional abilities as an oncologist. He needs to take the time to really listen to his patients and make them feel comfortable in his presence and when attempting to explain what is going on with "their" bodies which only the one who is seeking medical attention would fully know is going on. Listening is a great tool for a doctor to use, not trying to be an unblemished doctor and only hearing themselves.
