I have diabetes type 1. This was my first appointment after diagnosis, so i had many questions. All of them went unanswered because i only spent a couple of minutes with him, and seemed to be a nuisance to him. The only advice given was to stop taking my fast-acting insulin since i was getting severe low blood sugars. In my ignorance i listened and ended up in the hospital yet again. After becoming more experienced with my disease, i realize how unwise it was to take information from this man who obviously did not care about my health. I encourage anyone to choose a different endocrinologist after my horrendous experience. I have since found a doctor who listens and genuinely cares for his patients and am so thankful for that!
