Dr Choski did 1 colonoscopy on me 9 years ago and said I had a cecum mass and was cancer. The next morning a 5 star surgeon came to my hospital room and said he was not going to wait on a biopsy because Dr Choski was the best in his field and if he said it was cancer there was no doubt so he performed emergency surgery. I did loose alot of my colon and my appendix but the surgeon was DR ERDERLYN and so I wouldn't have to have a colostomy bag he used titanium staples to reconnect what colon I had left. This was brilliant.Dr Choski did my colonoscopies every 2 years and knowing I had the staples he never made any mistakes. When the biopsy came back it was STAGE 2 colon cancer. He was right. Its been 9 years and Im still cancer free.I only had surgery not kemo or radiation. Now unfortunately my oncologist has picked up severe anemia and I will have to have a colonoscopy and without hesitation I want Dr Choski.I have no doubt if thats where Im bleeding he will be the one to find it and repair what is needed. I was told abt being anemic 2 months ago and went on iron pills but after bloodwork last Thursday from my oncologist I found out they did not work and I have internal bleeding that is worse so we have to move quickly.

This awful, pompous man is absolutely full of himself and treats you as if he knows it all and you're just a little wee patient who shouldn't question his diagnosis or type of care, or lack of...while suffering from chronic pancreatitis in the hospital, he told me that I was obviously addicted to the pain meds and that if he could he would ask the nursing staff to start giving me saline injections in my IV instead of the pain medication that I was in dire need of every 4 hours. Fired him on the spot! Thank God for the awesome doctors and staff at Emory University! Once I saw the doctor, he ordered an MRCP which is a special type of MRI. What was very apparent on the scan was that my pancreas was very damaged by the ERCP that was originally performed by Atlanta Gastroenterologist. That caused my pancreas to explode causing digestive enzymes to then leak out internally attacking all of my other organs. After 15 years I am STILL suffering from what the "simple routine procedure" the ERCP did to me. I've had to have multiple surgeries to save my life, including the full removal of my pancreas, spleen, most of my stomach, as well as several feet of intestines. I still have to go to Emory every 3 months for treatment. My life was absolutely ruined by trusting the doctors at Atlanta Gastroenterology, including Dr. Chokshi. I now also suffer from type 1 diabetes because of this, and my life expectancy is shortened. I am now medically disabled, unable to eat regular foods, I am malnourished, all my teeth began to become brittle, and eventually fall out due to poor nutrition and chronic vomiting. This caused me to have to get dentures while still in my 40's. I will never forget this awful doctor as he accused me of being a drug addict and the trust immediately taken away by his lack of empathy and just basic care. Because I didn't learn the extent of my injuries they caused me and the terrible irreversible damage he caused until after the
statute of limitations was up, I was unable to bring a lawsuit against him or the original doctor, his colleague. I was too sick to do anything. Over the years since being a patient of this establishment I have learned to let go of being angry and bitter. I try to stay positive so I can live long enough to get to meet my grandchildren some day. PLEASE don't let anyone intimidate you into second guessing what your body is saying. It's your right to receive good quality care. If a doctor, nurse, or any other medical professional says something or does something that you have a problem with or a question about, SEEK A SECOND OPINION! God bless and take special care of yourself and your loved ones!

Chokshi is a horror show. He is inhumane. He shockingly made fun of my husband's mental illness saying: "I'm going to prove to you your disease is in your mind as your brain is broken, but we knew that already." What a disgusting, appalling man. This man has no ability to control himself and should not be part of polite society. Don't subject yourself to this man's ridicule. He is pure garbage.
