Biography

David Van De Car, DO, received his associate degree from Chipola Junior College in Marianna, Florida. From there, he attended the University of Florida where he received bachelor of science degree in nutrition and zoology. Dr. Van De Car earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center. He completed his interventional cardiology Fellowship at Duke University Health System. Dr. Van De Car served as lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army for 24 years with his last assignment as chief of cardiology at Womack Army Medical Center at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Dr. Van De Car is married with three children.
