Biography

Paul Skudder earned his medical degree at Cornell University Medical College and completed his surgical residency at the University of Rochester. He was trained in vascular surgery at the Lahey Clinic outside of Boston. After spending much of his career at Albany Medical College, during which time he vacationed on Cape Cod, he moved his practice to the Falmouth area and began practicing there in 2009. Dr. Skudder has held multiple medical staff leadership positions, has been on the Board of Trustees of two hospitals, has been president of his county medical society, and has held several offices including a vice presidency with the New England Society for Vascular Surgery. He has held a clinical adjunct faculty position at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (America’s Military Medical College) and has served on the governing board of Cape Cod Preferred Physicians. He has served the United States military as a volunteer treating injured soldiers from the Afghanistan war, and has volunteered at overseas mission hospital facilities. He has spent over 30 years as a First Responder National Ski Patrol and is an instructor in Outdoor Emergency Care and Stop the Bleed. He has over twenty years of experience in wound care, and is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery, in General Surgery and has been board Certified in Surgical Critical Care. He enjoys spending time with patients and providing the most personalized care possible. Dr. Skudder is available for community presentations and education on topics related to his practice.
