Dr Brooks is friendly to your face but quick in exam rooms . This practice gives very short time to follow ups after surgery 90 days, and in that time you only see the PA., who is a nice guy but did not impress me with knowledge , more like a hurt here order this. When you finally see the dr it is past the 90 days so they charge and it is a level three . Every visit cannot be a level three. I had a knee replacement and many follow up visits. I noticed Dr Brooks never checked my range of motion, never touched it unless there was an injection given. Injections are also a source for infection but they do make quite a bit of money on these. I think Dr Brooks is very amiable but does more surgery than he has time to follow up the care needed for his patients., especially if something goes wrong . My knee was not very successful but the practice made more money after surgery visits than what the surgery cost. This knee had changed the quality of my life. Office staff never returns a call and has a excuse for everything. I actually called over a month to get an answer on one occasion, and they hasd a different excuse every time. I no w hear they do not return calls to other physicians either. Their physical therapy was recommended to me at one point and I was told to walk in and make an appointment . I have never been treated so rudely by a dark headed woman, needless to say I did not go there so really cannot review the thearpist that work there. I feel Dr Brooks has ability to be a better doctor if he would think quality instead of quantity.

The doctor and his office staff tried to extort money from me for a letter that I needed for my disability retirement. My atty wrote the letter the doctor wanted $600.00 to sign it and wanted to redo the letter get paid and I wouldn't know what was in the letter? I had both hips totally replaced by this greedy joker. I wouldn't take my dog to this guy after he tried to get $600.00 from me for a letter.

If you need a bone doctor, this guy's the best in the south. I've been to Mayo & Emory - they don't compare with Dr Brooks.

broke right humus bone which is upper arm bone that controls arm went to Dr brooks he put a plate and screws in what a great job and can barely see the scar. Dr Brooks his PA Richard and staff are super on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best I give him a 10++++++++++ can't say enough about him

just had my 2nd knee replaced by this great doctor. march 1st 2011. He made me WELL informed EVERYTHING he he said was going to happen did happen.great DR and a good Christian man if this is important to you(it is for me)would recommend him to my family and I cant give a higher recommendation then that.

From a very concerned husband, if it were'nt for his humanistic concern for my wives well being and not treating her only by how she, like my others, gets steriotyped, but being very concerned about her loss of quality of life my wife could suffer permanent damage. I'm going to make this short. Dr. Brooks falsified my workmans comp reports and said I only had strains. In his own mri reports I found out by another doctor I have 3 degeneratrive discs and 3 herniated discs and a protrusion and an annular tear in my spine. I am disbled for life. I settled with them thinking I would get better only to find out my condition is worsening. I feel he should be held liable for my condition.

Dr Brooks was extremely kind and caring. My son broke his arm and later his leg. Dr. Brooks did an excellent job. I have recommended him to others.

Dr. Brooks did replaced both of my knee joints and I am pain free and very mobile. Their physical therapy is done onsight and their staff is absolutely the best around. I would send anyone to Dr. Brooks. He is awesome
