Biography

Dr. Kambhampati MD MPH is a Board Certified psychiatrist with nearly 30 years of clinical experience. Providing individualized, compassionate care is his passion. His experience spans various diagnosis including Depression, Bipolar disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Panic disorder, OCD and Attention Deficit Disorders. Dr. Kambhampati has been a member of the American Psychiatric Association since 1988 and was awarded the Fellowship in 2009. His training and experience is particularly focused on psychopharmacology (medications used to treat behavioral health problems). He is known to spend the needed time with his patients to understand the problems well and provide care with empathy and concern. Dr. Kambhampati’s career involved serving at various levels of administration and held responsible positions. He is presently the Medical Director, Behavioral Health, for the Baylor Scott and White Health System, North Texas. His presentations at various symposia include topics like Depression, Bipolar Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders among others.
