My mother was at Willis Knighton for several days. Dr Irby was her “doctor”. She was never in the room more than a minute a day and my family and I had to bring attention to anything and everything that needed medical care. She was also forgetful and dismissive. Should have never been a doctor that sees live patients.

She was assigned to my 83 yr old husband at Willis Knighton a few weeks ago..Her visits were rushed and she changed his medicine without explaination as to why...Everyone else at the hospital was awesome and very helpful...

90 yo male; Referred to this Dr. by my retiring physician. 1st appointment, was handed a multi-page, fine print document to complete, I asked if they had received my records from old dr.. . “Yeah, but it’s up in the attic”. OK? 45 min. Later, Dr enters room, calls me by wrong name. Wrong chart. Proceeded to change 3 of the meds with no explanation as to why, and said she would not continue writing prescription for pain med (for 10 yr history chronic knee & back pain) & gave no instruction on how/where to get prescription, as she backed out of room. When I had to call her back for clarification on 2 of the new meds & pain med, she called back 3 days later. Thank God for a neighbor who helped me w/ meds and getting referral to pain management. Will NOT be back; life is too short for drs with no pt skills or compassion & rude office staff; made appt with new Dr.. Of note, the lab technician, a very kind & competent black woman, was the only human being in that office that smiled.

I have used Dr. Irby ever since she opened her practice. She takes excellent care of me, my husband, and my 93 year old mother. I am grateful for her care.

Horrible! This has to be the rudest, most unprofessional, snippy, excuse for a Dr. I CANNOT believe that WK would keep her. Beware, she was treat you with a condescending attitude and really doesn't care about her patients...only that $$

Dr. Irby is not someone I would recommend to anyone, she is quite rude and is always in too much of a rush to do anything comprehensive for her patients. She should not be allowed to manage the care of complicated patients, or patients at all for that matter! She is more worried about her appearance and fancy cars than her patients. Please beware of her, at best you will receive subpar care, at worst you or your family could end up dead from her total lack of care.

My loved had been under Dr. Irby's "care" until very recently. During that time, not only was the patient's coumadin (INR) levels not tested for extended periods of time, but those levels, when FINALLY checked (while admitted in a hospital)were quite DANGEROUSLY high. Additionally, I thought that the doctor's complete lack of quite care was clear when she felt it appropriate to DISCONTINUE ALL FOOD for my loved one for an ENTIRE WEEK. PATIENTS BEWARE.
