Upon having our first son we had no idea who to select. Being new to the area we found Dr. Beer and decided to give him a shot. My wife is in medicine, my family consists of doctors and PhD's so I know what good is and what not so good is (Unfortunately they are all out of state). Dr. Beer is a person who sets the example of patient first medicine. He is great with our toddler, and not only has been SPOT On with several diagnoses he takes the time (yes he speaks quickly and darts around in the room to make notes for us, or draw diagrams to indicate problems) but look past that and you can see a man who loves children but loves medicine. I can assure you if I had a single bad vibe we would not see him. I see comments about his staff (Wake up its NYC is anyone nice?) Yes he jokes, but guess what perhaps you are not understanding the joke he is making therefore you interpret as inappropriate. Dr. Beer sets an environment that is Great,and as we have more children he will be our man

The staff is horrible. They don't greet you when you walk in. They don't give the doctor messages that you called, even in an emergency. The doctor is nice and pleasant, but when you don't acknowledge that your staff isn't good, it turns me off.

Absolutely revolted. I am a bit older than most pediatric patients but let me tell you, this guy is a ****ing creep. The second he walks in he starts diagnosing me without doing any tests, which as most of you could imagine is quite calming.. really.. He makes awfully inappropriate jokes and wouldn't stop touching my shoulders. As a teenage girl, he's a real creep. I can't imagine having a real great experience with this doctor.

I was extremely sick with encephalitis & meningitis when I was a little girl. Dr. Beer went above & beyond the call of duty making sure not only that I got well (after the hospital told my family to give up) but that my parents were comforted & kept in the know. I thank Dr. Beer for being a fantastic doctor & a wonderful human being.

We took our daughter to his practice from her first week of life until she was 18. She loved Dr. Beer, he was gentle, kind and caring and always diagnosed everything correctly. Dr. Beer is really a great doctor, we loved him too. He also has a great sense of humor.

While I find the doctors to be pleasant and competent for the most part, the staff is awful! They are rude and inept. They have lost my paperworkd twice and threw away my son's urine specimen! I wish the practice would invest in a better quality staff.

this office has gradually gone downhill,the staff is unhelpful and discourteous i was told the office and drs. were a pleasure to be assoc. with live and learn.upon entering the office iwas told to have a seat when i tried to speak to the office mgr. i was rudely told to take a seat and wait my turn i and my child walked out

Wonderful, warm and caring doctor. We've been seeing him for over a year and couldn't ask for a better doctor. The entire practice is awesome! They're open seven days a week and have same day sick baby appointments. They always return my calls within the same day and address all my concerns with respect.

Dr. Beer and the staff are wonderful......All the doctors at this practice are wonderful and have been very attentive to all of our 3 children. I have since moved out of state and have not found another Dr. or practice as them that are opened 7 days per week and return all of my phone calls when I have a concern! He is a wonderful pediatrician!
