Dr. Matlof is a quiet, highly skilled cardiologist. He takes time to talk to his patients and explains things clearly. He also calls his patients at home for follow-up if needed. He's a senior member of a very busy practice, but while the practice is busy, he seems to operate on a slower schedule, like an "old-fashioned" doctor who spends time with his patients. He doens't do his own surgery but partners with other cardiologists for it. Highly recommended.
