I was disappointed in my visit with Dr. Owens. The front office staff were professional and friendly, but Dr. Owen's medical assistant was indifferent and distracted. As a new patient, I expected that I would undergo a physical exam of some sort which may have helped Dr. Owen sort out what my problem could be. Dr. Owens did not even do a basic exam on me, did not listen to my heart and lungs, check for swelling, or palpate or listen to my abdomen. I would like to see the office note generated from my visit and compare his notes to what took place. He spent less than 10 minutes in the room with me, and after a couple of minutes I knew that his level of knowledge would not meet my expectations. I left the office without a plan for my symptoms and no follow-up advised. I will not be back of course. Yes, Dr. Owens is friendly enough, but I would not recommend him to patients who have more than a head cold or flu.

Dr. Owens has a wonderful personality. I was very impressed with how he helped me use less insulin than I had been using I was very impressed in how 1 visit my he changed my whole overall attitude towards my health. He listen to me rant about my weight and said I will try and help you with some of that as well "Well he did just that" when I return on another visit I had already went from 186 to 175 to me that was a huge leap. Dr. Owens is great all of my family is now his patient's.

Dr. Owens always has a smile on his face. He's friendly and has a great bedside manner. He's very accurate with his diagnosis' and medications. I'm quite impressed.
