He helped us tremendously in marriage counseling. He was compassionate while willing to confront both of us about our problematic behaviors and patterns. We were able to grow as a couple with his help and guidance.

I am so thankful for being referred to Dr. Greenberg. He helped my husband and I in so many ways, and somehow got my husband to enjoy going to therapy! THE BEST.

A lot of times I like to give everyone a chance so I did ignore the reviews I read about him. But they seem to be accurate and true. I’ve always thought a doctor in this field should remain neutral, not biased and not insult the patient. I thought there job would be to help the patient. After leaving his office I feel worse, which defeats the entire purpose of going to a session. I’m not exactly sure why he feels the need to disregard his patients, and be so hostile. Why be a therapist if it’s obvious you don’t enjoy your job. Please avoid him at all cost and save your money.

I wish I had seen these reviews prior to setting up an appointment with this psychologist.
We saw Dr Greenberg several times for marriage counseling at the tail end of what is likely a divorce situation. We had attended therapy multiple times before, including while engaged in our 20s, due to my husband’s emotionally toxic parent and his lack of ability to set and maintain appropriate boundaries. Since then, our marriage (and young family life) has dwindled to nothing but contentious, stress-filled times which are not healthy for children.
Long story short—this therapist consistently approved of my husband’s behavior, consistently told us his mother was “not a problem” and then back peddled when I confronted his obviously skewed insight. Recently, I presented multiple examples of my husband’s mother’s ongoing, unstable behavior which is no longer conducive to any type of relationship—his response to her behavior was “who cares?” (While I am bawling my eyes out). This, in turn, gave my husband the green light to further his narcissistic attitude and abuse. He laughed in my face throughout these sessions, while Dr. Greenberg continued to make me feel unheard and ridiculous.
I have ended all interactions with this provider as a result.

This guy is absolutely one of the most biased psychologist that I have come across. Justification of another party's negative behavior and then writing a slanted report when the psychologist gets called out for the justifications... avoid this guy at all costs and understand he will manipulate the situation at hand.
