I came into the office for insulin pump training and was forced into an appointment with Dr Cantero. I have never met her before this day and she was so rude it was unbelievable. First I was told that they wouldn't sign off on my insulin pump upgrade training unless they got an appointment with me. This appointment consisted of someone taking my blood sugar and weight in a hallway, then they took my current insulin pump to download information and Sen me back to the waiting room. 40 minutes later they gave me my pump back and said " guess you can go to your training now, they've been waiting for you. " The Medtronic trainer had called them and asked why they didn't let me in, their response "we didn't know why she was here so we gave her an appointment." BS! !! The pump training was halfway through And thia rude De Cantero barges in the room yelling "these pump reading are trash, which one of you do these belong to, youre gonna die." None of us knew who she was or who she was looking for, she then calls out my full name and date of birth to repeat that Im going to die real soon. She didnt care to hear that my pump had a critical error Which was why I was receiving a new pump. Nevermind that I've just had a baby and my insulin needs are different. All she kept saying, loudly was how I was gonna die. As a first meeting, this woman was loud, rude, abrasive, and overbearing. I will be reporting her for violating HIPPA laws, and I will be informing my insurance company that she is an awful practitioner. Ive only had appointments with Irene Irby, thats how I want to keep it.

The worst experience I have ever had. It was very unfortunate that I did not read reviews before I scheduled my appointment. She was degrading in the way she spoke to me. She is not a good listener. She did not believe how I feel in my own body. She told me that I was wrong and it's not real. Sadly, she was more than willing to prescribe medicine even when she claimed I didn't need it. I'm no doctor, but makes no sense.

Dr. Cantero cares. Her demeanor is not for everyone, a lot of people want doctors to tell them everything is going to be okay. But she is more of a realist, the fact is, a lot of endocrine patients have the onus of changing their lifestyles. She realizes that this is not easy, but demands it of you, because she wants you to be as healthy as possible. You would be shocked about how many people come in and complain that the pills she has given them are not working, but they haven't bene taking them. She's a great doctor if you want to get better.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cantero's for 8 years now. She has kept me alive. Cant stand people who claim she has no heart. She is honest and cannot stand people who want to keep eating and lose weight. No wonder Mr. Trump became the president. We need more doctors who are less worried about being PC and more worried about doing the right thing. We are with you all the way Dr. C. You could be a little more punctual though......

Dr. Cantero is the rudest doctor with no heart at all. She should not practice medicine. She will not listen to you, she is right you are wrong and that is the way it is. My daughter and I both left there in shock, we sat in the car in a total daze not sure if we should cry or what. It was a total waste of time. We felt like we were idiots, went to her for help with an illness and left with the illness and a prescription for depression???? what is that????? Run from this place!!!! and especially her!!!

She's mean as a snake. Pounded her fists on the desk. Doesn't listen or believe you when you tell her what's going on. She talks down to the patients while not addressing the things you are there to be seen for. All in all a horrible way to treat patients (customers).

Dr. Cantero is the rudest doctor I have ever seen in my entire life. Rather than showing any empathy and compassion she acted completely arrogant and refused to listen to me. I had no choice but to walk out of the appointment. Another reason not go to this office at all was the wait time was very long seeing 2 people answering questions before the doctor even came in the room to then ask me many of the same questions again.

Dr. Cantero is belligerent, and has a poor bedside manner. She doesn't care about your symptoms. She only looks at the tsh level from a blood test only to prescribe medicine. She will only prescribe t4 medication. She told me that mainstream endocrinologists do not use t3 medication. DO NOT GO TO HER if you want help.
